It is clear to me why threads are being closed. I have been posting on RIU for about 2 years and I don't recall any of the threads getting so out of hand even during the election. There are several new people flagrantly toting radical white nationalism.

i was gonna point out how we kept having the same debates during the election over and over, and things were as heated as could be. yet no thread closings, nothing out of hand.

something is supremely out of whack, and that's no White lie.

I said austerity is collective misery, therefore you're the actual collectivist dystopian.

You turned it into "wants a bigger stimulus" and will go on for pages about how they mean the same thing.

This is extremely annoying and I would appreciate if you just made a thread about how they mean the same thing so I could ignore it.
 
No dude, you actually said the stimulus was too small. The fact that we spent a trillion instead of 3 trillion (which the FED has made up the difference for you) does not mean we practiced austerity. I think you are finally realizing what you did there so you are trying to change history.

Let's be honest and play nice, or at least be honest.

Or better yet, just post an unrelated picture, that works too.

If so I say you're not only biased, but that the reason why it bothered you so much that I called you out over the debate about Fatman and Little Boy, is that I was right. Even old Canabineer has lent ear to fearmongering and harbored some xenophobia.

You've come into more than half of the threads I have started with disagreement and criticism and I take it well, respecting your view, since you present it politely, but it doesn't matter how polite you express it, if it is wrong, it is wrong. America didn't become an empire on my watch, so why have you been so butthurt? You're not forum dad, chill out, you don't have to rush to an impasse and try to get the last pretty new shiny word I've never heard, those are my tactics too bro.

You actually claimed you thought the stimulus wasn't big enough. Are you willing to go on record here that you didn't?

It was when I asked how an anarchist could possibly be in favor of government stimulus that you morphed into your rant against austerity (which is still ironic for an anarchist) and started posting pictures that had nothing to do with the argument. It was like you were trying to channel great minds to help you out of your corner. I remember this like it was yesterday, that was when I made up my mind not to waste any more time with you. I should have listened to myself.
