The background:

I took one plant in bloom playing around with the Lucas way on March 29 2010 and then added two more plants in bloom on April 14 2010 they were also on the Lucas way. I did not like what I was seeing in bud growth out of all three. So I took the two that were started in bloom on April 14 2010 back to the original way of nutting and with in 72 hours the buds were bigger and they were even bigger than the one plant that went into bloom on March 29 2010.
Today I took the plant that went into bloom on march 29 2010 back to the old way that I was nutting them as well.

Like I said before my plants looked good but lack of bud growth on the Lucas way was disappointing. I am used to faster bud development than that. I have no doubt it is good for most growers but for me it was not what I was looking for as far as growth. I can't handle slow low yielding growth it makes me sad :cry:

All 8 of my clones are ready for the big transplant to the bubblers, and soil.

So far, 100% sucess rate with my diy cloner.. Not one clone failed yet! (second time used)

They are way healthier looking with The GH lucas formula, over the Fox Farm Organics.

Way more Roots, Bushier, and overall better health.

Just waiting on my Air-Pots for the soil plants.

The bubbler buckets have been scrubbed down and prepared.

Today or tomorrow, I will begin a new set of vegging plants :)

A lil over a month and It will be harvest time once again, and this fresh batch will be flowering away!!

This time I will have much shorter plants,.. More manageable.

Never again will I try to grow out tree's, Its too much of a bitch .. Haha! :lol:

Those roots look nice! I've got a DWC cloner question for ya. How high do you keep your water level? From the pictures it looks like about half the roots are in the water and the other half are getting misted from the bubbles. Is that accurate? I'm still a little ways out from needing clones myself but I'm sponge-ing everything I can. I like the sound of 100% clone success!

I have the water almost touching the end of the clones... It makes the clones root faster than submerging them.. but, it will work either way.

If you got lots of bubbles, it doesn't matter.

Also, I add nutes even before the clones root.

0-8-16 Lucas and 1 drop per gallon of superthrive, and a big ol' pinch of rooting hormone powder that i put directly in the bucket's water/nutes, and not on the clones.

Once they root, they have food.

I like it like this because my clones will remain healthy and green. :)

Usually I tell people to just use water and superthrive and rooting powder.

But, i found out they really like the food ahead of time.

If your adding food before they root, be careful.. There's a possibility some strains might not like it.

Experiment :)

Ive been really checking over the roots on the new clones, and Iam seeing something that I really like.

My clones have actual hairs, instead of just strands for roots.

From what I have read at numerous websites, having roots with fine hairs is much better, than the usual stringy roots.

Another plus for the chemical nutes.. Organics never gave me this affect.

This is the healthiest batch of clones that ive done yet :)

I have had some extremely hard times with that subject myself, even considered taking myself out once.

Im scared to fall in Love, because of all the consequences that can happen.

What's up my friend. I was starting to get a chubby from all the root porn.:-P Looking good bro. I also had the little hairs going on with my cloner but not as good as yours. It must be those air stones (with them fine bubbles + the GH) you are using to get those results.

I think the roots my girls have developed are mostly due to the genetics, and the Superthrive that I use in the beginning of their lives.

And Im sure the Gh does its thing too... along with the bubbles, and of course the Hps light that I use in veg.

Whatever the reason, I simply love the good root growth.

Whats crackin' on your end Bro??

Not a lot CG. I just woke up from a drug induced nap :joint: about an hour ago:hump:. I'm currently shaking the cob webs out of my head as I speak :confused:.

I finally put 2 of them clones outside yesterday and they're reacting quite well to there new home. I'm hoping to get at least a half pound or more by the end of the year from them two bitches.

I posted it my journal. Take a peek when you got the time.
