Easy dude, first off try not to disturbe your roots at all ever if possible as it could create stress for the plant, but i can understand why, i did it once lol. but the roots look healthy if they are white and fluffy they are sweeeeet, as for nutrients, depedning on your soil and its mix, will depend on which nuts to go for, i use canna cocco as medium and then all the canna nuts and feeding regime from there web sight, this is all very easy and has NEVER GIVEN ME ANY PROBLEMS OR THE PLANTS, (if not a little bit more expensive but not much apart from the boost but i recon its worth it), but i was always told to use the manufactures medium and there spasific nuts as thats how they have developed it for that medium ya get mi? but in veg i would use a higher N then Pk gorw feed including such things as ryzotonic, this is great for greating new thicker healthier roots, it can also be used as a spray in leaves to prevent shock it also increases its amune system, also to use cannazyme which helps break down old roots, your right in thinking the yellowing plant needsa feeding.

Here posting pictures of the plants after the transplant of 3 of the plants not the 4th (that 4th plant is the one with the nitrogen deficiency.) What I ended up doing for the 4th plant was transplanting it into another pot that had fresh soil in it, half of the soil in the original pot was really wet. The roots hadn't even made their way into it yet so it just fell off. I then added some of my better soil to the bottom of the pot in hopes to help drain the water. It works really well in the other 3 pots.

Here are the pictures.

haha! nah that was on my camera from the zoo a month or so again. I think that yellow plant is doing a lot better also guys. I am pretty sure it just needed some N and better soil.

How long should I be keeping the lights on and off? Right now I am at 18/6, I have been thinking of switching to 20/4 (just for a little while until they look a lot better)

you can leave the lights on from 18hrs to 24 i always use 18 just because its cheeper, but weed loves light so the more the better, so up to you, they may stretch a tiny bit as they reach for the light in the dark periods, but if you can afford it and it does not disturbe anything or anyone being on 24hrs then do it.

hope this was usefull.........

Alright I am going to start keeping the light on 24 hours a day. Should I just leave it on or should I slowly start to keep it on loner?

Yeah I keep the closet door open when the lights on, I sleep in the other room so it keeps me up at night. (I live on a one room studio apartment, I have one window.) Your posts are always usefull man thanks for posting and helping me out I really appreciate it. Here are some more pictures why are my leafs curling up and twisting around like that?

easy dude its a pleasure i can help and give some advice like people did for me when i first started, i have always said pass on the love of growing and the ability to grow ITS JUST GOOD CARMA eh dude.

reet your laidies, i am not to sure about your 1st pic with the finky lookin curly leaf, it could be still developing into what will be a larger leaf, it could be just a retarded on that has not devloped properly ( but thats a guess ) pluss its a little hard to work out where it is on the plant etc.

The second pic looks like it needs a good feed with some mild nuts keep it about half strength, and feed ever other feed with the nuts. the plant needs some N.

The 3rd pic looks like nut burn so flush it with plain water, what ever the size of pot flush with about 3 times the water so 1gl pot use about 3 gal of water, let it dry out for a day then start back with a mild nut till back on full feed,

if needs be i wuld try when starting back on the nuts to give it a but of loving with some superthrive or ryzotonic as this will give its amune system a boost as well as helping develope new rutes.
this is what i would do but other people may have other ideas to so have a search round in the facts section at lant problems and pics, hope this is of some help.

keep up good work dude you will be a master in no time peace................

Pay no attention to my floor I was moving things around today.

They are looking great I have been giving them some nutes now Pure Blend, Pro Grow. It seems like they have been loving it and eating it all up like no ones business.

Also it looks like one got a little heat burn it grew a little too close to the light should I start changing the light to 18-6? I am not sure or just force them to flower, and put them into 12-12?

Based on how tall you can let them get: As a safe estimate, expect them to double/triple in size when you switch to flower. So if height is going to be an issue and you don't wanna risk running out of room, I would go 12/12 as soon as you feel good.

What do you mean? Like after I put them into flowering are they going to grow taller? I thought that they don't grow taller then what it's at during veg state. My friend came over and trimmed the big girl up a little bit and said it would help it out during flowering as well. Should I go get some marine food for them? I think some of the plants like the sample bag I put on them.

easy gotfondue them ladies are looking mint nice and bushy and green, they will get some fat bud on them for sure, but if you wanna keep them small or hight is an issue i would do what IRON LION ZION recomends and consider when to flick to 12/12, its true that they can double or even tripple in size, and this also depends on the size of pot strain genetics and nutrients.
i have read that on average a 1gal pot will hold a plant around 3ft but again depends on strain, light and nuts along with shape of pot, i used this as a rule of thumb, veg till 1ft then flower, all my strains have hit and grown slightly over 3ft now which is to much for my space, so will try 1/2ft next time, and should be sweet.

The bush you have would be perfect to flower now or you could do 1 of 2 things or both, you could tigh the branches down to gain more yeild which also lets more light into the bud sights or pinch the tops of each branch to double up and get an even bigger bush, and you could (and i would do this) top the plant which helps the lateral growth.
The other consideration is flowering nuts as they are diferent to veg nuts.

hope this is some help but your certanly on the way to a nice harvest if things stay the same...........
