Closet CFL Grow.

so im right at 3 weeks now. and things are looking up. i think i have my problems under cotrol.. i hope. my plants are starting to bud up nicely. im sure ive hurt the yield a bit but hopefully not too much.

here are some pics for the main room and the clones. the clones are stretching a bit. i was gonna move my cfl rig to my clone room but my hps bulb was screwed do i have to send it back to to htgsupply. anyway comments are welcome. the last pic is of the worst plant its had a rough time and has always been the weakest. i have thought about culling it but, i figure why not just grow it out and have maybe a half oz more of smoke from it.

flowering 11 girls in a 6x6 room is kinda tough btw. should be worth it though.

2 plants got hit with molasses bat guanno tea today. will be hitting 3 or 4 more tommorow, and finishing more as they need water. nothing much new. i removed a double hand full of dead vegitation from the plants today. hopefully this will be the last removal of dead leaves, things seem mostly under control.

pc been down for a couple weeks, no real news other than problems still mostly abated. buds gettin bigger, some plants look great, that fuckin sativa is gonna bring some wt. the buds are fuckin huge already, its all leaning over. which is good cuz it was too goddamn tall anyway. still using my cfl rig cuz my hps light hasnt shown back up yet. starting to see some yellowing of fan leaves you always see in mid-late flower. this doesnt worry me cuz i expected it. gonna post pics later.

i finally got my new light, and got it up.

its going good so far. its a bit warmer than i figured it would be. will have to see how hot it gets. i think it will be fine. one plant is showing some bad signs not sure of what. thinkin its calcium or magnesium def. +rep if anyone can id what the problem is. i have a thread in problem plant section, the 2 there that have replied think its nute burn, but i have a bit of nute burn on a plant or 2. and ive seen it before. and i dont think it is. maybe im wrong.


gonna be a bitch doing the final flush on this monster sativa. its so big i could barely get it in and out of the door replacing the light. half broke a smaller limb, got it mended and it should be fine. here are a few pics.

plant six has went hermi, while draining after a flush a few weeks back my brother went in to take a piss and killed the light when he left. was out for maybe 20-25 min, that coupled with twice leaving the over head light on in growroom, not the main light, the ceiling one was too much for it to bear. i removed several banana sacs last night, all of them as far as i can tell.

not sure if i want to goahead and harvest it, or keep trying to remove the balls. i hope to not run into so many problems next grow.

been a while since last update. and since then i have harvested half the crop. first was a hermi that i moved to another room. the light fell on it like 4 days later. had to harvest it right then, it netted about 1.4 oz dry.one more about 6 days after. then i cut 3 more, a couple nights ago. they are still drying so no wt yet. i have a few pics. and one more last night. leaving 5 in flower at current. some are taking forever for some to finish. some i cut a little early cuz they were in bad shape. all the hermi bud is gone. it dried and was gone quick, my bro got 1oz. and i have been smoking on the rest. not much of it left. anway here are the pics.

first is the massive plant. then the shoe box of popcorn and non impressive buds, and the buds drying. the plant i cut last night isnt in any of the drying pics those were taking two nights ago.

then room 2 (Veg), 19 seedlings 3 clones 2, 6 weeks from rooting, one 5. and 8 new clones cut from the 2 bigger clones.

then shots of flower room and the 5 remaining plants therein.

and can anyone tell me if those pics are posting as thumbs or as links? they show as links to me most of the time but sometimes they post as thumbs. its pissing me off.

It has been almost a month since last update. of course everything is cut dried, some has been cured enough. some is still curing. the bud was great. the large sativa was probably best but its all been good. the biggest complaint i had was the amount of small bud from loss of leaves throughout. trimming was also not too much fun.

ended up at pretty much 3/4lb from 11 plants right at 4 months. not the best result IMO.
PH dropping really low. then tryint to raise it too quick stressed out already deficient plants. luckily one one went hermi, maybe another right before harvest i cant really be sure. even with all the problems everyone that smokes the bud loves it.

thanks folks, they cfl'd 7 weeks in veg and about half of flower, then i got my hps going for the last 4-5 weeks. so they were mostly cfl grown.
