I don't have cal+mag on hand... I added dolomitic lime at 2 tbsp per gal. when mixing... hoping that should cover all calcium and magnesium needs...

But yeah, they're getting big. I can't wait to get my scrog on and get them flipped. Still waiting on my fiberglass rods. I hope the idea works and they are strong enough for what I had planned.

dol lime will handle it. adding it when you have dol lime in the soil is pointless and i see people doing it all the time.

Now I'm all paranoid about whether or not i actually remembered to put the lime in when mixing it... that's what I get for mixing soil while puffing on oil... I know I intended to... and I THINK i remember scooping it. I think. Jesus. Maybe I'm just too high right NOW.

Anyway, I'll see if I see any improvements from the grow nutes I added for those few that were showing the damage... also looking forward to seeing if there's any shift in the purpling from the bloom boost.

Hmmm... so, well, this morning I'd say the problem remains, MAYBE even showing up a little more... and while the P deficiency could cause the yellowing, and it's possible I'm just not seeing improvement yet; those haunting ideas about how I might have missed the lime have got me seriously wondering. I'm tempted to go ahead and chase down magnesium deficiency by trying an epsom salt additive with my next watering just to see what happens... or maybe try a foliar application, as I've heard that should show immediate improvement if it is the problem...

you need to take a step back and relax!!.....were talking about a Hardy C3 PLANT, give the grow nutes some time before you dismiss it's effectiveness, you temps are fine and don't ad d anything else for now.......just chill brother;-) ......a Cal/mag deficiency is any easy tell/fix.....don't have it yet:-P

be safe and good luck grower

Thanks Psuagro, I am still a newb at heart. :P

You're right, I am overthinking, which I am prone to, lol.

I will keep an eye on things and see what happens... :P

Agh, anxiety. I need to restock my indica supply, that's the whole point... ;)

I hate buying black market, too unpredictable, I never know what i'm getting... can't wait to have the results of this on hand so I don't have to worry about that anymore...

Ohhhhhhh, by the way, I was going to flip on Dec. 1st but am waiting til the 5th, that's when the rods I'm using for the scrog are coming in the mail.

Also also, I am sprouting two new babies upon 12/12 flip, which I will be raising slowly under some CFL lighting to be mothers for a future SOG operation, 12/12 from clone after the current batch finishes. (I'm considering individual pots, soil beds, drip systems, or DWC options still)

Something new for my brain to think about now: a mother box for those two mothers, preferably in something that will fit inside the closet...

I'll be growing out one strawberry cough and one Critical jack herer.

And Giggles, I haven't forgotten about those door photos, I'm just ashamed of my halfassery... which is to say, I got the door up but still dont have a latch holding it closed, don't have a floor sweep added yet to seal the bottom of light leaks, and haven't quite put together the puzzle pieces around the out duct yet either, one needs to be trimmed up a little. But I ordered a duct muffler, so when that comes I'm going to get that whole area squared away and properly sealed in. I'll be doing a full pictorial when it's done. And for the 'latch' I 'm prolly just gonna do one of those "spinning rectangular piece of wood nailed to the door frame" solutions.

Nope, don't know growers. That's why I do it, lol.
I can usually count on quality from friends of friends through certain avenues, but I can't count on strain information reliability, or even whether it's sativa or indica... it's just varying degrees of good or great, according to the sources. C'est la vie... I try to buy as little as possible!

that sucks...he at least knows the strain and sometime the the people that grew, like with this bag it is cotton candy and the dude hermed it and let it sit in jars for long. then sold it to ,my dude for a good price then he gave it to me for a good price.. but i was after seeds with this sack anyways(i do this pretty often, go looking for fucked up hydro bud that is) got about 10 cotton candy seeds out of the deal. usualy he doesnt know who grows it, but he at least would know the strain.

I gotta go thrift store hunting for a nice cab to work in... I figure I can fit a nice 12-18" deep cabinet, maybe 3-4 feet tall and about 18-24" wide... I can stick that just inside the door to my closet... it'll be somewhat in the way but I think it'd work, and I'd be able to keep a bucket on top of it for good gravity feeding of plants...

Shopped around online but there's nothing reasonably priced... all I want is a single box with a door, but everything's designer this and that... I even checked ikea, couldn't find what I needed. So I guess I'll check thrift stores and see if i can come up with something. I could build it I guess, I just don't really want to, heh.

Wish I had some extra furniture kicking around that would do the trick, but can't come up with anything yet...

cough........IKEA..........cough :p
I gave them a look but couldn't find what I needed at a price that seemed reasonable for my DIY mindset, lol. I guess I'm just cheap. ;) But I didn't really find exactly what I was looking for either, so, maybe i'll give their site one more look around...

I'm checkin craigslist but it's sparse... there's a bunch of scrap wood under the porch from the previous resident, I'll probably see if I can build something. I might be short on plywood, but I can atleast hobble together a decent frame and then order some mylar or something.

I used what was left of my plywood and some 2x6's to make a decent box frame. Just have to cover the front and back with some poly and cut a hole for an exhaust fan, and a couple for intake. (which i should have done before I just put that coat of urethane on it, LOL. Oh well, I'll get it between coats)

Anyway... already took off my shoes, or else I'd take pics. haha. I'll take pics when I get the hole cut, put the second coat on, and get the front and back closed up with panda film. I'm leaving the bottom open, and will just throw a couple kitty litter pans I have in the bottom to act as drip trays and a tent bottom in one.
