hello all
Its been 50 days since germination
the pistils are getting brownish
Is it close to harvest?
Also the top looks pretty good but sides are looking young
would I be risking the top cola getting over matured when waiting the sides to mature?
Some yellow dots are appearing on the leaves, I checked the online symptoms page and the leaves look like the cal/mg deficiency ones, but anyone can tell whats going on with em?
Thanks for any input!

Wait for the hairs to recede and the flowers will swell. A few weeks or so. Those spots look like spider mite damage to me. Nothing will treat them this late, so just keep truckin.

The best advice was given above. You have three weeks at least. Wait for calyxes to swell and pistils to receed back into them. When tops FULLY mature it is ok to chop them. The lower parts, or popcorn buds can be left on the plant and watered an additional week or more to fully ripen. You are almost there....dont blow your efforts and harvest premature. Your plant will let you know when she's ready...patience.

Thanks for all the reply!
Gonna wait for few weeks and then see if its time to chop!
Any other thoughts on the yellow dots? I have never see any spiders in my place so I would doubt if its spider mite...

Be very careful you dont want any chemical pesticides so late in flower. You'll be smoking it. Maybe neem oil?
I m not gonna use pesticides, because yes i ll be smoking em!
Do you think the plant needs some trimming?
Maybe I can cut off the leaves with yellow dots?
Some people cut off all the leaves when the plants start to flower some people leave em to the end...

The leaves are like solar cells filled with energy. Leave them, as your plant will need those final nutrients when you start to flush in the final 14 days. Most experienced growers will tell you to leave them unless they are dead or touching your soil. I like to tuck leaves around, under, or sideways in order to get more light penetration to bud sites. I avoid removing them at all costs! Even when they yellow up nicely toward the bitter end.
