Close enough? (rot is here; more PNW rain coming)

Outdoor, 8wks; budrot, including tallest cola....
They were tented cause of the PNW rain, but the humidity has still been through the roof.
Two small-medium sized plants affected, 5 gallon pots, bagseeds, different strains. pissed off.
They aren't ready, are they?
Trim it out? cut off affected branches? Chop 'em down, now?
Advice, ladies and gentlemen? I'm panicking. :?

These first five pics are of mystery plant #1; minor rot in several places (no pics of rot for this plant).View attachment 1829948View attachment 1829944View attachment 1829945View attachment 1829946View attachment 1829947

Cut off the effected areas and keep close watch... you should be ok. Let the plant mature.. you will be glad you did.

I just finish the 'snip-disinfect-snip-disinfect...' process for the day. Right before I lost daylight. I also attempted to give them some more ventilation. I guess I will post asking how long everyone thinks I'll have to keep this up before harvesting...

Rot sucks! I had to hack cola's thicker than coke cans..

Question...If I miss some of the rot will it spread during drying and curing?

Yes, rot continues to spread and grow. Keep bud rot/bud with rot cut out separate from the pure greenery when drying.

I hang it all in one place, it all dies and dries up. no problem.
Well the problem already existed but once I start drying the mold dies and cannot effect the other buds.

It's a dangerous game you are playing. I'm in the 503, and the same was happening to me. I decided to chop it all because every day was a new adventure. You can go out and cut new buds every day until you have a couple mature ones at the end, or you can chop now and have many buds less mature. I went with option two and am glad I did. The trichs are still clear, but they are pretty good, just not as big or potent as I would have liked.

I decided to do the same thing as Clayton although mine were already milky they hadn't swollen up yet and I wanted to minimize the damage.

I had to harvest 4 girl's early due to bud rot. Left my enormous Pineapple Chunk in, found rot, cut it out. 2 days lost all of the cola's. I live in PNW, I was covered, had plenty of ventilation. Wish I had cut sooner! I'd say take him down.
