cloning to SOG improve yield greatly?

Hey so I'm vegging growing some plants right now and wondering if when it comes flowering time would it greatly improve my yield to chop up and clone all my plants, maybe into a hundred or more clones in propagation trays and then root and flower the clones?

I mean if this will only slightly improve yield or if it will take a lot longer and not yield a lot better, I'm not interested. I figure having many clones at a lower height allows for more flowering and more space for buds, but maybe I'm wrong and the yield will not make up for the time.

Why don't you just tie down if you are doing sog and get a canopy or 12 tops or more on one plant. Using the space you have wisely and it opens up floor space too if you don't have to have so many pots. or do you do hydro? but i would cut up a few of the low branches and clone those

good question, ive been wondering about that myself.

what the guy above me said probably is the best compromise.

have less plants, but top/fim them and tie down the tops, would probably look about the same as if you would take a lotta small plants.
+ its lowers your plant number if you get busted...

think thats what im gonna try... 3 plants with 4-8 tops every 2-3 weeks, so 3x4 in the box

if you have any exp comparing the 3 yields (normal big plants, sog with clones or sog with topped/fimmed plants) pls share :bigjoint:

hmm and theres full lst to...

sog is generally considered the best all around indoor yielding method period. the down side is plant numbers if you get popped. stay below 99 plants or you can get in trouble. im a med grower but still try to keep numbers down to a minimum.

aha, interesting take.
I'm not doing sog at the moment, its just dwc and soil. Problem with doing a bending sog is just the veg time. I'll have to think about it some more, but will definitely take a tray of clones.
