cloning questions

What is the earliest you can take a clone from a new plant from seed?
I am growing 5 gumtree's that are 4 weeks old. Should I wait another 4 weeks like the Bible is saying?

Early. as soon as i've stem above new viable growth that is more than a couple of mm thick, i can clone and clone it successfully, can most likely be done earlier than this as well.

true...but from seed you would want to wait to see sex of pant before taking cuttings, usually around 6 weeks they can pre-flower showing sex, that's why the bible say to wait, wouldn't want to waste time growing males if all you have to do is wait til they show sex then you take all cuttings from only females, to insure no seed in the weed/new garden...peace

Swings and roundabouts really. Doesn't make much of a differene waiting for pre-flowers or cloneing and then flowering the original, if you were to veg for 8 weeks to show sex and it's a male, well it's still 8 weeks wasted, so as i see it, pretty much same result which ever way you do it.

I already know the sex. Great genetics, mystery strain.
