Cloning question

took 6 clones, 1 wilted, 4 had roots above the plug. Is that normal? or was the plug too wet?

Is this one of those math questions?

I can't quite figure out what you mean when you say that one was above the plug..?

I understand what he means. I wouldn't say it was "Normal"' but, it's not a big deal. Just go with it, it'll be fine.

Would having roots exposed to air, like that which is done with some banzai trees, increase the rate of oxygen available to the roots?

they would eventually form an outer skin and make it like a branch rather than a root. I don't think its absorbing any o2 through that "bark" ...this happens to my outdoors when I water too hard at the base and wash the dirt away.

thanks guys for the reponse. Yeah I rushed the question cause I had to go to work. What I mean is, I am using rapid rooter plugs and took 6 cuttings. 1 wilted right away, 4 out of 6 had roots growing out of the plug. literally above the spot where i inserted the cutting had roots growing. came home to dead clones cept for the white widow x big bud...

Oh I understand now. I use rapid rooters exclusively and yea the roots will grow from any part of the stem as long as it's in the cube.

thats just it, the growth wasnt in the plug but above it lol
