im using an ez cloner and im wondering once roots form in the inserts how do i take them from the foam plugs and put them in rockwool plugs so i can put them in my 4 in cubes?

Next in my state sea of green isnt possible im starting clones in week 4 of flower. I was wondering how do i go from clone and keep them out of veg untill i harvest to keep my plant count legal or can i take clones in later weeks i found some slow growing branches in the center that are just starting to flower .....just started running a hydro flood and drain bucket system and this is my first attempt at cloning always went from seed but these strains i really want to keep :wall::wall::wall:. Thanks for any help.

I am taking clones at 21 days of flower. I am doing a perpetual with harvesting about every six weeks. By doing this I can keep my strains going and at the same time not raising my plant count above what I am legally able to grow. Another option is air cloning. The clones aren't considered a single plant until they are separated from the mother. So theoretically you can have a bunch of clones via the air cloning option and still only have one plant technically. :)

Bump any advice on vegging in ez cloner or how to remove them from plugs and put in rock wool starter plugs after roots develop. I heard about splitting the rock wool plugs open and inserting the clone very carefully in the rock wool then inserting into 4in rock wool blocks. Any input???

You can take your clones later if they are rooting and starting to veg before you have harvested and prepared your room, alternatively keep your cloner rez temps colder and they can take up to three weeks to root which should be plenty of time to harvest if taking them at 4 weeks flower.

Splitting the rockwool cubes works just fine and that is exactly what I do (big or small roots).

Soak the rockwool cube in plain tap water for a few minutes, rip it in half and gently lay the root structure and close back together. I then usually place the rockwool cube inside a 5" net pt and fill around and to the top with phototron rocks (I mix the big and small rocks).

Hey, post is a few months old but is exactly what I was searching for, so i'll bump it guess...

Just after more methods/advice on going from Ez Cloner type cloner and then transplanting to Rockwool. Guess I could just skip using the cube all together and plant directly in Grodan fleece like the soil guys would, does anyone have success with this? Guess when itcomes to it i'll try a few different methods.
