If you had a plant you wanted to clone but were already flowering would it be better to clone the flowering plant or to reveg the plant after harvest and then cloning?

Clone from the flowering plant. How far along is it? When you clone of farther along flowering plants they will sometimes monstercrop themselves and will grow a little abnormal but youll be able to get normal clones off them.

It is completely sexed but just starting to actually bud.

Anything in particular that should be kept in mind when cloning a flowering plant? This is my first time cloning anything so I want to make sure im doing it right.

I always clone off of flowering plants. 2-3 weeks in (although I have been lazy at times and didn't take the clones until 5-6 weeks.

The thing to keep in mind is that it will take a bit longer to root and it will take a while before you see new growth.
