Cloning a flowering plant ?

Hello ,
I have only 1 GDP female flowering , just entered week 3. I took 7 clones from lower branches that I needed to remove anyways. The cuttings are about 4" and have a little start of a bud on top.
I put these into a self made 5 gallon bucket aero cloner with photo still on 12/12.

I have read a lot of mixed info through the search on this forum.
I have a few questions please.

Will the clones root with the tiny bud atop and 12/12 light ?

If they do root and I put them into hydro 12/12 , will they be good to go , or do I have to wait to see if they hermie ?

Thanks

If you keep them on 12/12 the little cuttings will continue to flower. They will not go back into veg unless you change the lighting. I usually use low wattage for 24 hours until she comes back to veg. When they are back into veg they produce a swirled leaf, that actually swirls around into a circle. Its pretty neat actually. They they produce a great bush without topping at least IME.

Do I have to go back to veg?
...if you don't go back to the vegetative state they won't root they will just die in a couple weeks as they try to continue flowering without roots.

...imagine trying to eat with your mouth sewed shut. ...it becomes very difficult to grow.

you can revert back to veg, but its a timely process. no worry though, the result will be worth it

Will the stress from the switch back to veg make them hermies when they go to flower again ?
I had six reg GDP (5m and only 1f)

no man, they are only just starting to flower so the minute you put them under 24 hours of low light they will begin to revert and to root and by the time they are rooted they will be fully back in the vegetative state and could then be used as mothers or they could just be flowered at that stage, ...you just can't do it without roots.

btw, that single female can continue to be reproduced for years to come, i have several in my collection that i've had for years.

well the only way to feminize seeds is to directly turn a plant into a herman. since this mom and dad plant now has the hermie trait, so will the produced seeds. this doesnt just skip a generation in the genepool.

...sorry man but femminizing beans doesn't create hermies unless you did something wrong or you used parent stock that is prone to hermaphrodites..

...any breeder worth his salt will take any plant he is contemplating femminizing and do everything he can think of to make it hermie and will only use those plants that fail to produce hermies to produce femminized beans with.

...my grobro and i have made and grown out hundreds of our own femminized beans, he does the outdoor thing, and we never get hermies, just females.

Ive cloned/reveged stalks with buds on um every year for some time now. Just follow cloning practices and make sure there is enough leafy vegitation on there. Ialso cut off the top bud but leave the rest of the smallish buds alone!

...who's help is it exactly that you're lookin' for?

...and re-vegging isn't all that difficult but it doesn't work every time, occasionally one won't make it. ...it's important to leave some vegetation on the plant you want to reveg and it's also important to trim the rootball.

Gday mate , can I pick your brain for a sec? I've got a querkle that's turned out to be male...i think... If I grow him out will I get regular querkle seeds? My grobros got a spare feminized pineapple express in his garden.., what do you think would happen if they got it on?
