clones with vegemite?!

i was talking to a friend the other day about cloning and he had an interesting way of doing it so i thought i'd share:
take your cutting dip it in clonex (or whichever one you're using) then dip into vegemite then into rockwool next place in one of those little greenhouse things, with (unsure of cfls he used, i think they're the same as in fish tanks) with water at 18 degrees celcius, he kept these in his kitchen cupboard, and they usually take in approx 3-4 days. (he had 100% success with each one, (apparently)..
Just thought i'd see if anyone else knows about this or has tried and can confirm
Cheers

sounds interesting although I'm not quite sure how a cutting would use a yeast extract, although it is high in Vitamin B

heres something i found

Vitamin B1 can be used to alleviate plant stresses (ie. transplanting and
plant damages due to environmental extremes). Some companies
recommend using Vitamin B1 to assist plants to root. One application is on fresh cuttings: just use pure water with a measure of Vitamin B1 until roots appear, then start with a Weak nutrient mix.
I'd say the Vegemite would assist coz its so high in Vitamin B that it may help the cuttings root.
