Clones Wilting

My clones were in the dome for a week. Only a few rooted. Now they are sitting the tray but with the dome off for this past week and only a few more have rooted, but some are wilting. I don't know if I'm over watering or underwatering. They are in Rockwool. When they get on the dry side, I dip the bottom of the cube in clonex water st EC of 1.0. But I only dip the bottom and let the cube leach up water for a few seconds. In that few seconds it takes up a lot of water to the point that IF I were to lightly squeeze it, it would drip a bunch.

Is there a better way to water them besides dipping them in the clonex water? Maybe misting the cube? I'm just worried about it getting too much water and that's causing the wilting, or it getting too little water and the water isn't even climbing up to the roots.

They bend over and everything droops. I'll post a couple pictures so that you can see what they're doing. The top of the cube stays dry because the water doesn't go all the way up to the top. Just the bottom gets wet. If I were to leave it in the solution longer the block would be too far soaked in my opinion. But what do I know?

Thanks yall

Probably just need more acclimatizing from being in the Dome. It could be just being exposed to a less humid environment. Try the wilting ones back in the Dome and gradually expose them to more time outside of it.

I find that some clones can take a long time to root. I've had some for weeks in a homemade clone bubbler alongside others which root fast. I've learnt I have to be patient with clones.

I haven't used rockwool for cloning, but the way you water is what I do when I have a seed germinating and just sprouting in rockwool. You don't want the cube wet all the time, so your method sounds okay.

It's hard to tell from the pic but it's good to cut the leaves, say in half. That, with the, not too wet media, supposedly promotes the roots to grow, as opposed to the leaves.

That rockwool looks bone dry. Rockwool needs to stay wet.
