clones, week 2

hey my clones are on their third week in the rockwool..being anxious i opened one of the rockwools up and the clone only had 4 roots half in. long tops...why is it taking so long???

Give them time, they will grow.

Make sure they're getting enough light - not too much or too little water, but juuuust right.

For fun, I actually stuck about 10 clones into a vase and they're doing fine under the kitchen's fluorescent which stays on 24/7

Who needs rockwool lol

I say take the dome off now. Let the rockwool dry out a little and the roots will grow to find water. Your cubes should be damp, not soggy. Pinch the excess water out of them and you're good.

What are your temps?
In the winter months I use a heating pad under my dome to keep the temps in the mid 80's. Otherwise they take about 2-3 weeks to root properly.
Just a thought.....hope this helps.

I took the dome off for the night last night and when i checked them this morning they looked like they were dying they were drooped down and curled in
