Clones/pruning

Hey guys so far im successful with my first op. All though, two clones were introduced to my garden and now half is infested besides all that stress.
I noticed a few weeks later after successfully topping my plants that there was still more structure into marijuana than just a tall stock.

My questiong is that during vegging i notice more inter nodes grow on the main stocks (after topping) and another pair of newly internode are grwoing on the inter nodes from the main stock. What internode should i clone and on what internode does the clusters of chronic grow? And should i clone a week into flowering??

Also on pruning, my internodes from the way bottom of the stocks are not recieving all the light they need should i prune those internodes and keep about 5 main ones?

I also want to post vidoes is that a good idea?

infested? infested with what and what stress do you mean?

this i dont get. do you mean it bushed out more then you were expecting?

erm, il try to make something of this.
in my experience any new growth point is ok to use as a clone. i generally cut it with at least four leaves so it has a fighting chance.
Chronic? really??
Buds will form at points on the plant where there is new growth showing aswell as various points where leaves come off the STEM or branches
if you take a clone during flower that clone shall be in flower so i wouldn't recommend it.

also known as lollipoping, this does reduce the amount of popcorn bud that will form but this is really a decision you have to make yourself based on how big you want the plant and the sort of smoke you want.

dont see vids that often.

wow didnt knokw cloning was so difficult....topping a plant has been proven to grow and root better then taking small clones from the bottom,,,,but any branch (not leaf ) will do for a clone......and cutting clones during flower doesnt matter,,it will just take a bit longer for the flowered clone to produce roots, but could see amazing results by doing so....i cut a clone during flower last year , and when that started to root, at the bud site shot out like 20 shoots from that 1 bud and made it awesome to clone from..

My friend gave me two clones that have spider mites and half of my other plants from seed caught the spider mite disease and makes me stressed
but okay thank you for your answers and I just thought it would be good to clone after you know your plants sex b4 cloning Cuz all of my babies were started from seed.
And my bad it I used immature words. ill post pictures of what I mean on. From the results of topping and the internodes.

Peace

yea mikeyboy do your plants ever get that nice and big you probably would of understood me better ey?

I have a question about cloning and have no clue where to post it. I read somewhere that every time you clone a plant the potency of the bud goes down, unless you always clone from a "mother" plant. Is that true, like if you clone from 1 plant grow them up, then clone off them grow that new clone up then clone off the new clone, and so on and so on. To me it seems like the more you clone from clones the less potent your bud will be. Please help and thank you :)

i would imagine cloning just from a mother plant would be a lot more smarter. Because your cloning off one plant rather than cloning multiple times from each generation.
Plus youll yield more from your girl rather than taking clones off of her.
Have you ever thought of seeds?

Thanks alanboy420 yes I do most my plants from seeds that become my mother plants, the question was in hopes of settling a disagreement with a friend who also grows and swears by cloning clones. He argues there is no use for a mother plant because the bud will be the same no matter how many times you cloned "down". I say the bud will not be as good on a 10th generation as it would be on a first generation. Just trying to get another opinion on it.
