Clones not rooting in EZ Cloner ?

This is the first time I have ever used a ez cloner. Been using rockwool for years and wanted to try something new. I have the 30 site one. I have the water set at 68-70 degrees. Water ph is 6.2-6.3. Using Dyna-gro K-L-N. I cut clone let clone sit in kln for about a 1 min. I add 1 tablespoon of kln to water. Cloner holds about 5 gal of water. Running light 24/7 using 4ft flors tubes about 8in away from clones. After 20 days clones only showed small nub roots as you can see from picture.

Can use all the help I can get. Running 2nd set now after cleaning it. It's 7 days today with no sign of anything.

Thanks

looks like roots to me? i have an Ez-cloner 120....always have 99% success rate rooting. usually takes about 2-3 weeks. only time i have ever had problems was when i didnt pH water...turned clones to mush! give em a little more time...those roots in your pic above look substantial enough to take up nutrients so you should be fine.

Bro, those root nubs seriously would murdalize the nubs I get on my clones in perlite. I wouldn't beat yourself up over it. They look fine, sometimes it just takes longer for them to form, but I mean if you're getting roots, the only thing you can try to do is perfect it. either way i'd say that cutting looks hella good and has a lot of potential as far as root growth goes.

I find once my plants are showing about 1\2" to 1" of root its best to change my solution, PH right to 6, lower the temps to about 65f. Those are now officially rooted clones, you just need to promote root growth now.
I use super B+ (which is pretty much superthrive) and prop-o-gator (not sure what equivilant product would be but the npk is 0-3-2. at fairly high concentrations, and that causes a real explosion in root growth.
Also consider a small amount of horticultural grade h202, it will oxygenate your roots and fight pathogen growth, as i've quickly learned, it is your friend.

I changed out reservoir with plain tap water instead of filtered water a week ago on this last set. It seem to do the trick. This last set rooted like they are suppose to. I think removing the chlorine in the water might have been the issue. Thanks for the help.
