clones not flowering!

lots what do u know about a reveg not shit like me but your out here acten like you know every thing and 75% of ppl on there dont know a lot and thats why there on here to learn and your on here telling ppl now to waste there time thats now right help dont criticize

I have never said nor thought I know everything I am only giving opinions and options for possible solutions to problems I have had myself.

It isn't always so easy to pick males from females early, certain strains maybe it's easier but from my experience they often look to similar to be sure so taking the bottom 2 branches (which I would anyway) to find the sex isn't a waste of time imo

Have you ever taken a branch/clone 2-4 inches and find out it's a male? I don't wanna down anyone methods as i have my own w/o the cutting of my plant.
Smell,shape,nodal growth and other things helps me a lot to tell the difference even though some may doubt my methods i find it more conventional,you are
right certain strains have certain habits but some things are done better by awareness,for example if my plant is 3 weeks into veg and it has 12 branches coming
out and more than half are already long then I'm gonna assume it's female and usually my assumption is correct since in my experience males won't do that at that
age but will after inducing flowering.

I used to do that aswell but it failed me after a while. We don't have too many known strains available so we tend to grow whatever we have lol and you end up trying a few strains until you get a good one.
If that works for you then cool keep it up.
I usually wait 'til they have a couple of branches long enough to clone while leaving plenty of growth above it.

I would actually help more but my methods are frowned upon on RIU even though proven by some and ignored by many.hell if i told you i knew the sex of the plant before
flowers you will probably say it's bullshit,the fact of the matter is that by the time a male has sufficient enough amount branches to clone it will most likely be showing sex
so if cutting branches in early veg then most likely it's gonna be a female,but after a certain amount of weeks trying it is a waste of time.I'm sure imma be hated for writing
this but MEH!
 
yes you can find out if its a male wach for pre flowers with in weeks 4 to 8 from seed dont take clones before then you might be disiponted but theres a 50/50 with most seeds

sometimes i can callit befor pre flowers show but even with 10 years exp. i get i wong i like to wait thos extra cuple weeks to be shure

Wanna know my key to success in sexing,first i smell and since i know the smell males put out those the ones i weed out,if it has no smell or just smell like plant material(rare to me)
then i look at the nodal growth,females will have dominant growing tips vs the males which seem to have more fan leaf dominant tips,the females will also have more elongated tips
before they open vs the male, and the male will grow looking like a single fan leaf is forming or start out like a seedling would form.Basically to put it males are small headed with big
arms vs the female who will have a big head a shorter are(not actual size but shape).Don't quote me on this though cause i don't want any trolls thinking I'm passing misinformation

I bet you'd come across a strain you couldn't pick if you went through a few though

I been germinating seeds since the 3rd grade but growing for real since 15 and i'm 25 so for about 10 years too,but i only find my methods wrong when i get a herm but
that is usually cause i don't carefully inspect the whole plant sometimes,i got a plant right now that the top half was female and the lower half was male,but that plant
didn't and hasn't show any more male parts since i defoliated the bottom half even in flowering.
 
males balls females spikes often smell and every thing els smell and plant growth is determined by
geno. and phnotype

2 or 3 minutes light wont reveg them just be careful try to make sure they get 12 hours of total darkness the stretch should happen any time now
