The LEAVES have nutrients in them!! when the plant cannot take nutrients from the roots the leaves provide what they can, this is why it can help foliar spraying clones with a light rhizo fert because they take in the nutrients and this helps produce roots.

GAZTRON what you are implying is plants are growing in the week they are cloned and going into flower without roots... that makes ZERO sense

Maybe to you it makes no sense but I do it all the time if I start from seed.
I take a clone normally and put it under 12/12,
After about a week they start to show pistils or pollen sacs which tells me which plants are female.
This would be flowering yes?
I don't keep the clones as obviously they won't yeild much at all but they still flower and they have NO roots for the first week of flowering.

Dipshit I don't know the sex of the plant I'm taking the clone from, which is the point of taking clones to determine sex!
I don't keep a stash of pics to prove known methods to ignorant people. But you can research it like I keep saying and you will find it is common practice.
