Clones in IL

Is there anywhere in the Chicago area a medical grower can get clones?

Kinda tired of the hit or miss with growing from seeds. Even with good genetics there can still be a lot of variance.

You'll be hit or miss regardless. I've been a grower in Chicago land for almost 25 years and I still don't know anyone who grows after me lol

it sounds like more of a "who you know" when it comes to clones, i wish i knew an old timer who had some decent cuts of oldskool strains. if my old biker teacher hadent died, im sure the bikers could have hooked me up with some sweet cuts for myself

Yeah that is kinda what it is feeling like. Id pay decent money for a clone from a plant that was hunted for. I have friends that grow. Just nobody has room to hunt for a keeper or to keep mothers.

Doubt the fiance will let me hunt when I get a house.

Honestly hunting your own phenotypes is your best bet, and doesn’t need to be that hard or take that much space. Ive always had to grow in limited space in prohibition states. You can easily hunt through a decent amount of seeds with a veg tent and flower tent. The key is just to keep the plants small. Small pots, limited veg time, pruning during veg. Take clones as soon as possible and get them flowered so you can see how the plant performs. Then save the keeper.

Even if you get a cut that someone else hunted, it won’t always grow the same in your garden. The same goes for if you hunt a cut and give it to a friend. The word phenotype means that it changes it genetics expression based on the environment it is growing in. So unless some how your grow is exactly the same as the person that hunted the cut, it can and likely will grow differently.

Michigan genetics I think it’s called it’s a two hour drive from where I’m at google it. Clones and teen plants for sale. As long as you have a ID it doesn’t matter if it’s out of state they will sell you clones. Gonna get that GG4 cut they have....

2.5 hours from me is not awful.

They need to pick some better pictures tho. Don't be showing a plant with yellowing bud leafs and burned up tips.

The Bruce banner and fruity pebbles did not look like healty plants. The gg4 is a decent picture.
Leaves do naturally yellow at the end of flower but ya man idk where else you can go. There’s ppl who use clone shippers one the site thcfarmer one of them is a Michigan grower and everyone backs up that he has quality clones

Thanks ill check into it.

And I agree. Natural fade is a good thing. I think they probably use photos from people who bought their stuff. So hard to fault the seller for the buyer being an awful grower.
