clones grow like zigzag

I have a problem. All my seed plants grow uniformly but allmost all my clones after transplant from 1 liter pot to 11liter pot start to grow unevenly. Like a zig zag. I don't know the reason. Maybe someone knows the cause of this problem and can help me out with this case. I've drawn a sketch to show what i mean. On the left side is a plant with normal growth and on the right side the zigzag growth which bothers me. Hope someone understands my problem.


PS: another problem is that totally healthy clones start to cripple after transplant to big pot. All plants look healthy but they develop strange leaf structures. I can't figure it out. The mother plants are healthy and so are the clones untill they root and get transplanted into 1 liter pots. After they developed good roots in the 1 liter pot i transplant and the shit begins. Actually they should develop exactly the way the mother does but its not the case.

That's the way clones grow. At least mine do. They look nothing like plants from seedlings.

It's completely normal. Your clones are just branches and the zig-zag growth pattern can be attributed to fact that the mother plant was sexually mature, which causes the internode spacing to become offset.

Thx for the replies! So this seems to be a normal development. Nevertheless there is a reason why i bother this kind of growth. I have some clones that grow exactly the way the mother ( from seed / This mother was already sexually matured ) does. they grow like a seed plant. The zigzag clones and the clones that grow like the mother are from the same plant. As i already mentioned most of them are the zigzag type and only a few grow the way i want them to (like the seed plant). If all clones would grow like the zigzag i wouldn't care but since i recognized two sort of growth i wonder what the reason could be.

I also realized that clones that grow in the 1 liter pot grow uniformly like a seed plant without node offset. So i tried to make a comparison. I left one clone in the 1 liter pot for 1 month and another clone in a big pot. The plant in the 1 liter pot was 30 cm high and looked like a little seed plant whereas the plant in the big pot looked like this zigzag type. There must be some reason for this. I just don't know what it is yet.
