Clones different from last grow??

I had a ph issue with last flower cycle. My pen was jacked up and the PH was around 4.6 when I found out. I have a new ph meter and well I had to take clones from flowering plants well into what should have been a great finish but they never made good flowers. I can only guess that it was the low ph that caused this issue because the three other rounds with this strain came out fine in under 60 days of flower.
My problem now is the new plants from clone are not making flowers like the first few times did. Why might this be. The plants are 30 days into flower and still have barely shown any flowers. Can clones change and stop growing good flowers? Seems to me the things are clones and should not make a difference.
Ps. I took clones everytime from plants already in bloom. Never had an issue. Please answer if you know.

Plants on 800 ppm, GH three part nutes, PH 5.8. Hydro. 2k hps.. Previous grows were same but used Botanicare bloom nutes for flower.

if you took clones from flowering plants they will need to regrow once rooted before you flower them
the regrowth will look distorted for a while before it sorts itself out

have a look at rejuvenated plants and monster cropping
to see the twisted/distorted kind of leaves a rejuvenated plant, or a plant that has gone from flower to veg cycles

once the plant sorts itself out it should grow normal bud identical to what you had before
the bud may look weird if you flowered your clones too soon before they had grown out the distorted rejuv type growth

A good rule of thumb for myself is that I wait at least 5-6 weeks before I flip any clones taken too far into flower.

What do you consider to far into flower,, I

different for different strains but usually past day 10 of 12/12 for myself.. If the clone starts pushing retarded growth like a reveg then IMO it needs time to recover from not only the cloning process but the change back to veg from flower.

And yes, the low pH would affect bud growth because they need more of what is readily available at 5.9-6.1 at that stage.
