Clones and seeds dark period question.

So my seeds have sprouted, 2 autos, and i have 2 clones.
I'm curious if the clones are ok to go into a dark period, I took them roughly a week ago.
Also are the seeds ready for a dark period? The actual seed has fallen off.
I'm thinking 18/6 with 2 t5s.
Any input or info would help.

Wouldn't mind if you threw in a little auto lst tips, when I should start, when i should stop, etc.
Seeds are blue pyramid and Pakistan Ryder
Thanks

of course they are ready for a dark period... They always are.... Only time I run my lights at 24hrs is the first couple days of cloning..
after that 18/6.... 24hrs of light is not normal in nature....

Nothing in your grow room is like nature. You can go 24/0 or 23/1 or 22/2 or 21/3 or 20/4... if you want, it won't hurt.
They just need 16 hours or more during veg.

Thanks and I know I can do 24 hours, its the only thing I've done, just been told that I should let the autos have a dark period and I wanna see if the clones turn out bigger or smaller than their mom was.

Maybe not in your grow room, but I have this brown stuff called soil...
Oh and water....

Do you have temperature swings from the 50s to the 90s?
high winds? dry days, wet days, low light days, moonlight?

are your lights hitting your plants at an angle?
do you add dust, bugs and hail to your grow room?

I agree with a bit of both of the above.

To claim your room is anything close to nature... Your pissing into 90 mph wind.

For lighting, I did some playing with lighting recently, and I've actually got it set up a bit different than I've heard from other users. I found that during the cloning stage if you kill the lights anything before roughly the week mark, your in for an unhappy morning when you come check on them. They need the light to start producing the energy for roots. Of course this will be strain dependent as I've had some ecsd that took 2'weeks to throw roots in the same tray that pineapple chunk rooted in 5. Anyways, I started messin with light schedules after my mentor promptly kicked me in the dick for cutting the lights out. I have 2 6-tube t5,s hanging in my mom/clone room. I found that running 3 tubes on each bar for 12 hours, then all 6 for 12 hours, it gave them a better color, growth structure, node spacing, etc.

sorry for the book, again just my findings. Could be that I'm just seeing shit due to the better changes in weather and I'm just attributing it to my light experiment. No idea....
