Clones and DWC

I have some clones that I cut and put in rockwool a couple of days ago. I am planning on putting 2 of them in a DWC setup and was noticing how similar an "easy cloner" to DWC. I have FF nutes and the FF feeding schedule and noticed it has recommendations for cuttings/clones.

My question is: Do I have to wait until I see roots in the rockwool before putting the rockwool in my net baskets with hydroton or can I put them in now with nutes mixed in per FF specs?

I'm not in a hurry, just curious. Thanks in advance.

Yes the root will grow out then down into the ff solution.

You can put them in without seeing roots coming out first. The roots will grow down into the water.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking but these are my first clones so I wasn't exactly sure, you know?

I guess maybe I'll go ahed and put my Green Cush plant in the flower room with the others and move the DWC tub in the Veg room with 2 clones in there then.
