wash well in diy brewers or diaper sanitizer

or household bleach

if plastic use sponge or cloth avoid scrating the plastic surface

drip dry

good luck

Thx buddy.....yea ive gave it a good clean and made sure the water is stabilised. ...i just cant get over why this has started happening. ?.....all the circumstances i was running with great results before r basically the same (water temps,ph,ect)so u can imagine how annoying it is.....the only difference this run is the clones r comming from New SEEDS instead of a mother but that shouldn't make any difference. .......

Ez clone recommends running 1 cup of bleach per 10 gallons to de sanitize your cloner. I'd do the same and see if that helps.

Yea guys...you were ALL spot on.....I was only using hot water to clean with and i thought bleach would harm my clones.....but....after using a bleach to clean they r looking a lot better I'm still a bit apprehensive about putting a small amount of bleach in my water.....how much bleach would u put in 2 gals of fresh water guys.....?it's only a 12 site cloner.....

You don't need to put bleach in the rest, there should be a little residue left over when you clean.

Use the correct bleach. There are multiple 'bleach' products on modern store shelves, but they are not all appropriate. Look at the active ingredients and confirm it is made with sodium hypochlorite

I can tell you what I've found works very well, peat pellets. You let them absorb as much water as they can, put the cuttings in, keep them in a chamber with a 40w replacement LED bulb. Two or three days later I water with a light hydro solution, enough to rinse them out pretty good, throwing away the runoff.

Constantly wet is not a good situation for cuttings because as you've seen they tend to rot. Another good thing about the pellets is that they reduce transplanting shock, since much of the roots are safe inside them. They tip over less too because the pellets stabilize them somewhat.

That's all I ever use now for cloning, peat pellets, they work perfectly. They include a small amount of fertilizer in them, and are pH balanced, so it's not as acidic as plain peat. That's also why I water enough to rinse them out good. Probably wouldn't actually need to add hydro fertilizer, it's just what I do personally, more complete than what they put in there.

Rule of thumb is 2.5 ml per gallon of water

I've never used bleach for anything but cleaning. I would strongly recommend against adding it to any nutrient solution.

Always add bleach to water, not the other way around.
