hi im not new to a grow but im new to cloneing....im currently growing dutch passion blueberry and i have to say the plant can take a beaten....so i have gotten my moms about 3 feet now and i decided to take a wack at makeing some babies....

i have read every thread on here about cloneing in the forums and in faq also have you tubed everything before makeing an attempt....

my question is i took a few good size cuttings and cut them at a 45 degree angle with a brand new razorblade that was dipped in alchahol to steralize and peeled a tiny bit of the stem before attaching rooting jel and so on...

my question is after i did all this i they were placed in the rockwell and then they wilted...i cut excess leaves off and trimed the fan leaves as instucted but the next day after the wilt they started to bend twards the light...i have them under a mini T5 and in a humadome i have done everything to a T...Is this normal is this something that is sabosta happen....

Just a little insight would be great i think its working but it cant help to get a little advice....Thnx aot...

Yeah they will wilt a bit, especially the tops, make sure you don't keep the RW cubes soaking in water, you need to let them dry out a lil bit.

Are the RW cubes sitting in the res? You dont want those cubes wet all the time, it will just rot your stems.

I'm kind of in the same situation. I cut a few clones with all the right procedures and mine are sitting in a humidor. I don't keep them immersed in water but they are constantly wet from when I put them in and I also spray the tops about 3-4 times a day.

Is this ok? Or do I need to take them out to dry some? Thx

I take big cuttings too, some are 10 inches high and have stalks 1/2 the size of my pinky sometimes.

ok, i experimented a lil with cloning on 1 of the males i had...i put a couple in water & a couple in soil with a lil light cuz i heard you shouldn't hit them with too much light in the begining....the 1's i put in soil immediatly slumped over along with 1 of the 1's in water...1 in water stayed uprite.

anyway, i left these plants alone thinking they were dead & not caring cuz they were male, but monitoring the 1 that was still uprite, checking for roots...after about 3 days i went to check again for roots & the 3 sluped over had begun to rise from the dead...over the next few days they stood str8 up....IS THIS NORMAL ????

sorry if i repeated a few questions already asked in this thread, but i posted this early this morning in the cfl section & got no response....thought i'd try here thanx...& i hope i'm not stepping on toes here, if so, sorry.
