Cloneing failure?

Three days ago i went a cut one clone off to just play around and experiment to see if i could get a clone to grow.

I cut it at a 45 degree angle. Stuck it in water right after i cut it for about 5 minute walk. Then I put it in rooting powder then stuck it in moist dirt.
I stuck the clone in a humity chamber, It was a cut up two liter with sirran wrap. Then i stuck it in my window sill, after i put a little water in the bottom of the humity chamber.
This morning i checked on it. It was very humity and the leaves had turned brown and had mold growing on them? Any help with what i did wrong would help me thanks.

I'd take more than one at a time if at all possible. Other than that, sounds like you're on the right track. Cloning can be tricky at first, just stick with it and you have it down in no time.
