Just want to start a thread for cloning. Dont see many ideas or setups. Lets see what you got! give ideas, show pictures, help get a good cloning post for a new sticky thread!

I use my Aerogarden for clones.....Just a lil gel and pop em in their lil sponges and I have roots in a week week in a half...

I use plain water in a shot glass, with a dome over the top, mist once a day. 1 inch of stem in water.
Roots taking roughly 14days.

I have just cut my first clones 2 days ago. But I did it the same way. So time will tell if it works for me. THey look nice and not dying or sagging as of yet.

I've been using rapid rooters, clonex, dome and heat mat. This seems to work for my situation and with success. Now I have too many since I was counting on some of them dying. Guess i'll throw a few away or let them die.

I did cut the leaves back. Doesn't look to have effected them negatively at all.

I recently started using rapid rooters and I love 'em! I've gotten roots poking out of the sides in as little as 6 days! My success rate has improved greatly as well. Even difficult to clone strains seem to love the rapid rooters!:weed:

I use a dome with a heat mat. I keep 2-3 towels on top of the heat mat or it gets too hot. I keep the dome completely closed for the first 2-3 days. I mist once or twice a day; only the inside of the dome, not directly on the clones! I use olivia's cloning gel, cut at a 45 degree angle, dip 'em and stick 'em. I open the vents on the dome at about day 3. On day 4 I leave the dome off for about 2-3 hours. by day 6 I take the dome off altogether. It says on the rapid rooter package to keep a little water in the bottom of the tray. I don't do this. I simple wet them with a little r/o water with a drop per gallon of superthrive. I then mist them every couple of days to keep them from getting too dry. My success rate with this is nearly 100%. Keep it green!:leaf:

I copied this from a post I put up in another thread..

I really dont remember the last time I lost a clone.
Heres my system..
-2 or 3 nodes down from the top of the stems canopy, cut at the next node set down (leaving those fan leaves and node sites)and put the cutting into a bowl of water cut side down. Now make a new cut (45* angle cut) with the stem submerged in the water where you cut it (this blocks up the stem with water so air doesn't get inside of it / air pockets are bad).
-After letting the cutting sit in the water for a minute or 2 and suck up a little water dip it into your rooting gel/powder (dont be shy here, get it all over the stem) (I like to "coat tail" the cutting at the bottom of the 45* cut. This promotes more root growth instead of a tap root shooting down.
-Useing cloning cubes (2" Rockwool cubes). Plant cutting about half way through the cube you use.
-Most clones will take an upward of 2 weeks or more to show roots. Keep them in a clone tent where they'll stay warm and moist. Spray them a couple/few times a day and let them get fresh air in the tent. (I add tiny amounts of nutes to foliar feed while spraying clones....Tiny amounts!!)
-When clones show there first root or 2 coming out the bottom of the cube I like to cut it.. Just like topping your plant this will promote a more even root base. This is about when there ready for soil and hardening.
I also like to keep my clones in 20+ hours of light per cycle. (under T5 flouros)

I use a standard 12x24 tray with the tall dome. Recently I added a food storage container filled with hydroton and filled the tray with 1 inch of water. I had awesome roots in 10 days and was left completely unattended, never had to water them. Check it:

18 hours of T5 light.
Pre-soaked rockwool in pH'ed water with a couple of drops of Superthrive.

I took my first cuttings about 9 days ago, 8 in all. Kept the dome hood constantly wet, misted the clones about 2-3 times a day and while they spent the first 2-3 days flopping over and looking dead, they're all standing up and 3 have root stems emerging from the rockwool cubes.

Very simple, I picked 4 node branches, made the cut, trimmed the lower leaves off, put the cutting under water and made the final cut. Dipped them into dip-n-grow for 15 seconds and squeezed them into 1" cubes, sat them under CF under the dome.
Got 3 to plant today, looking forward to sexing the plant.

Sorry gonna buy a camera after this harvest. However I keep my cloning simple. Bought a 2' by 1' tray with a dome, tray has slots for individual rockwool cubes. I jst snip some branches (around 4 inches). Trim the leaves add Schultz rooting powder and put in a rockwool cube. Cram that baby under a cfl and mist sparingly. I usually see roots within a week or two.

Here's some pics for ya.

Nine days.

Eleven days

Today at 19 days

And here is the bubble bucket.

yep the bubble cloner i have tryed with better luck than a humidity dome. I am going to go back to the bubble cloning tonight. I am going to cut up my other mother and do a bubble cloner for mine. It will be home made very simple. I will put pics up in a while.

I would love to build a bubble cloner, whats there deal two pumps blowing air into the water making it bubble? How much water in the bucket? They sit right above the water to get splashed? I'm using a dome-heat pad-and fucking hate it. My patience is running thin and I hear great things with the bubble cloner, so any info would be great:leaf:
