I'm setting up for clones and don't have much space. How far should I have the light from the clones? Is it ok to put a light on top of the humidity dome? If so, what light, and other supplies should I get? Thanks in advance for steering me in the right direction!

Set that light right at the top of dome. Just use a 2 bulb, 4 foot fluorescent light. They like 80 degrees Fahrenheit, keep em wet, open your dome everyday for a minute. I get 95 percent to root good everytime

Clonex, Xacto Knife, Rubbing Alcohol to sterilize the blade. If your limited on space, a few CFLs should suffice so you don't have to go invest in a T5 or something. I once had a mildew problem the traditional way, now I use this bubble bucket and I love it. 10 days.

Make sure you're using light towards the blue end for rooting cuttings. Warm or red light can actually inhibit root development.

I'm trying to clone straight to coir. It is a shitty little branch I broke off accidentally... it is 105F today... Seems Ok.

please explain in your opinion

and in ur baby words

how exactly does red light inhibit root growth ..

thanks

It isn't so much that red light inhibits root growth but that a lack of blue light will. As far as "baby words" and childish behavior I'll be adding you to the top of my list if douchebags on RIU to ignore. Suks(sic) but even RIU has plenty of assholes that seem to be out ruin everyone else's day.

You never know what someone else knows and I wanted to be sure that the op wasn't mislead by your half assed, poor grammar, incomplete response.
