How long do u keep the light on in a cloning room?

people do both 24, and 18/6.
i like to do 24 untill rooted then 18/6.
iv done both, no difference that i can tell.

usually 24 tho

24/7 for clones

I agree 24/7 and no closer than 10" with flourescents till rooted.

I have my cloner in the tent as all my vegging things and I clone everything in there with a 400w MH light set to 18/6 just as for the vegging plants, and I usually have roots in 4 days...without the cloner it takes longer by far...but I have one in soil that was a top of a branch I accidentally broke, so I stuck it in a solo cup of soil watered it and then zipped it in a baggie...and she has started getting her roots on the 9th day so now I leave the bag off and she'll be fine...
