Clone of a clone?

Hi, I'm new to the forums and this is my first post. First I would like to say this is a amazing wealth of info here and everybody is great in helping others. So I'm saying thank you in advance. My question is it possible to clone the clone and so on for generations or is there a possibility of some genetic breakdown with each generation of clones I take. If its ok I would rather go this route so I don't have to make a separate grow area for my mother plant.
If it helps any the plant looks to be indica, just bag seed nothing special.

I have a White Widow female that I've been cloning for 5 years now. About every 9 months I replace my mother with one of her clones. (the mother gets too big.) I've had no loss of quality.

I keep no mothers and I just harvested 4th generation clones. Meaning I cloned the original plants from seed(gen 1) to make gen 2, then cloned gen2 to make gen3, then cloned gen3 to get gen4. I now have gen 5 in flower and gen 6 in veg. I actually get better quality buds now than earlier plants because I only take clones from the best plants in order to keep the most desirable phenotypes going. No decrease in potency or flavor whatsoever as far as I can tell.

yes you can take clones off a clone off a clone off a clone and so on

when I start my grow I plan on having moms and once they get to big for my space I'm gonna take them for all the clones I can so that nothing of her would be waisted.
