maybe a little rooting hormone could do the trick for the root problem?? Whats the temp of the area where your plants are at? Is your cfl hot? If so maybe cuz your plants are too close to your light. You dont just have them sitting in the rockwool without water able 2 git 2 the rockwool do you?

I have never cloned before, but from what I have read in FAQ and other stuff is that they can take 30 days or more to root.. though most will root within 20 days or so.

I haven't a clue about your leaf problem so I will leave that to the experts to reply on.

you took ther quiet big cutling to root with man, woody stems doesn't root well. also did you use a cloning hormone and got those clones warm and confi? clones grow best at around 80-85F, below 65F they hardly ever root!

if i would be in your spot i would either keep trying with those or cut them in two pieces and try to clone those instead of that wood branch;)

they are in a dome by the way, or?

yeah i used rooting hormone initially. humidity is around 80 and temps about 78. i just lift lid twice aday and mist the dome. they are about 3 feet away from cfl

They are turning up and turning yellow and then brown.

That is way to much light (to intense) for that clone.
With clones they need a minimal amount of light.
I would say about 3ft away from a window or 6ft away from an incadescent light.

Once they root and you have them in your medium and get ready to veg then you can put the cfl within 2" of plant as long as you have good ventilation.

I've cloned plenty of times before with 95% success rate in the USA lol now I live in Italy I have clones in riot plugs with a heating pad at 78* but they seem to be curling up .. Down every which way lol im wonder maybe is it to much light I have them in a vegg tent with a 250 MH but the dome is above the light also temps get pretty low at night in the tent what can be the problem? The light is beLow the clone tray.. So I don't think it's to much light.. Have no idea I'll take a pic and post

I'm wonder have you been rinsing/soaking your cubes before cloning? Giving them a good rinse under the tap water before soaking helps wash off packaging and manufacturing chemicals.

Some of my clones would do that if the humidity dropped drastically aka removing the humidity dome and checking on them. They also did it when I removed them from their dome to plant. I sprayed the leaves with water and they recovered fast. Just my experience :bigjoint: good luck!
