Clone Help

So my buddy saved every seed found in high grade bags that he had picked up for awhile. he germinated 18 seeds, he made 6 holes and planted 3 seeds in each whole about 4 months ago. i know it sounds unorthodox but all six plants are now 4 feet tall, still vegging. i talked to him today and he said hed throw me 5 cuttings for a few bucks. so im lookin for some cloning info for a first timer. where should i make my 45* cut? anyone know any good rooting gels? can i use soil to transplant, or is rockwool a must? any tips to that anyone could give me? im kinda nervous as i dont wanna kill my cuttings...any precedures, tips, or other info is welcomed

Do you know if they are female or male? You dont want to spend a few $ on a worthless male plant. And on you question you can use dirt or rockwool just make sure you use a lid over the tray to keep the humnidty up, and there are many good root hormones you can use, I bet you can find cuttings instruction in the FAQ section

THe best way that i have used is to get cloneing gel and the 1 inch rockwool cubes and cut the stem at a 45 degree angle also you have to keep the clones very humid so put them in a bag under your grow set up and it will keep it humid

new member here. i am just abt to flip my babies to 1212 but b4 that i want t take 18 clones. ive got a humidity dome, but need to know what lights to buy to root the suckers. n e help or previous exp would b greatly apreciated

or my cloning lights and or grow room i just use a 4' shop light , seems to work great
