Clone help

About two weeks ago I changed the lighting on four of my plants to 12/12. I started them all from seeds and they're now about 2 feet tall. Luckily, all four are female (little white hairs -no balls YAY!). This is my first grow and I've been playing around with a lot of different techniques (super cropping) as well as different soils, nutes, etc.
Since all plants are indeed female, I figure I may as well clone them... Is it too late do you think as they're starting to bud?

Well, even in ideal conditions, you don't always have 100% survival rate getting cuttings to root. I probably lose one out of every six cloning durning veg.

IF you don't have a good root hormone compound, it might be a challenge.

You can clone when in the flowering cycle, but keep in mind that the plant is producing flowering hormones. you will have to revert her back into the veg cycle so it produces the proper veg hormones.

its takes a long ass time. and i mean a long ass time.

its gonna take about 15-25 days just for the plant to grow some legs and revert back into veg. growth will be really slow. just hang in there and hold out. it can be done!

Awesome thanks! I'll give it a try and see what happens...also, I read that as plants begin to flower they need less Nitrogen thus leaves start turning yellow. I have quite a few yellow leaves on my biggest plant, though all branches look quite healthy. Should I trim the yellow or just them die off?

I'm using Scotts premium soil. Used B'Cuz thru vegging. I stopped that when I moved to 12/12 and now that she's flowering I literally just started on Fox Farm Big Bloom...
edit: None of my other plants are showing signs of yellowing, on exact same regimen, though they're no quite as developed as this one.

thats probably it. different strains can take different levels of nutes.

try cutting down on your nute regimen for that one plant.

fan leaves shouldnt do that till you have large flowers.

Alright, so I'll cut back on the nutes for that one alone. I was out of town all last week and my buddy took care of them. He misread my instructions and gave them double the amount of water I prescribed...very frustrating. They looked fine before I left. Thanks again for all your help.

make sure the soil is drying out a good amount before you add any water. try to give her just straight phed water for a couple of feeds.

then go back to giving her the nutes.

That yellowing is nitrogen deficiency. Fox farm big bloom is intended to be used with fox farm grow big and fox farm tiger bloom. If you dont give it some N soon it will keep dropping fans. Look at the N P K rating on the bottle....grow big is approx. 6-4-4 and big bloom is approx 0.5-0.5-0.8. Good additive but not enough on its own.
