Clone Help

As of now i have 12 total plants in my grow room. Im using a 50 - 50% mix of foxfarm soil and a peatmoss/perilite soil mixture. I have a 400 watt HPS light on them about 12" above the plant. I got my seeds from a friend. There bc bigbud and blueberry X G13. Hes been growing for years and has given me some of his prized feminized seeds. The plants look very healthy and are nice and green ( Pics coming soon). Leaves on some plants are curling up. Ill take some pics of this later. To help resolve my problem. I just started budding them about 3 days ago but before i did i took 10 cuttings from them and started to clone. I have a biodome that i keep them in and im using clonex cloning gel and rockwool. I have them over a 125 watt florescent growing bulb i got at a hydroponics shop. When i cut my cuttings i put them in a cup of water. Then dipped them in my cloning solution and placed them in there medium. Within one hour they all looked like a limp dick! So i took them out ofthere medium rinsed them off and just placed them back in my cup of water and sprayed the leaves and put them back in the biodome. They perked back up within a day. So what am i doing wrong? Im just guessing that they dont like the clonex gel. But im a noob and i need someones advise as to wht to do here. I will post pics of my plants here in a second. I need to install my webcam. :p Just like a pot head huh? Thanks for all the advise in this!!!

you should spray onto the cover of the biodome so that there is a lot of humidity in there. Humidity is one of the biggest issues. Also make sure the rockwool is soaked. Take off the biodome once a day and spray the lid again(to let fresh air in and so that it wont stay dry. Wet the rockwool if it seems like it might be becoming dry, try not to let it completely dry up.

I have excellent results using just rootone(cloning jel should be better) and peatmoss pellets under 23(100 watt equivalent) CFL's. My biodomes are nothing but the bottom half of vitamin-water bottles. I spray some mist onto the inside of the bottles once a day. Resoak the peatmoss about every 4 days.

oh and the BIGGEST thing i found out... is where the roots come from. they eventually come out of the stem but the first place they come out is where the leafs were cut off. Cut about half an inch below a node and then cut the leafs off of that node. Make sure the gel gets on the part of the stem where the leafs were cut off. The roots grow out of that spot ASAP. My first clone never grew roots below the soil but it started growing them out of the stem half an inch above the soil in mid-air because i never had a node buried underneath the soil.

too much foliage in my opinion. When i make my clones i leave only the top and a node below it, with the bottom leafs cut in half(missing their tips)

You might want to cut that half an inch below the 3rd node. Cut the leafs off the 3rd node and dip it an inch into rooting gel so that the 3rd node is in the middle. Then put it 3/4-1 inch into the rockwool. Trim the leafs on the 2nd node. Keep temps around 65-80 degrees and you'll see growth within a week.
