clone help!

Hey,
I was planning on taking some cuts to turn into clones but i came across a problem i do not have a "propagator" i have some root gell thing called "gell to root" and it says after taking the cutting to place into the gell then place the cutting in the gell in the base of propagator then put on lid is there anyway i can make a "propagator" at home, easy and cheap? would a clear containor work with a lil water in the bottom or somthing?

Yes, that would work. It needs to hold the humidity. Go check out the GrowFAQ's. Lots of great tried and true ideas there. I use one of those clear plastic file boxes. I just flipped it over and use the lid as the bottom. I place my clones in Jiffy plugs on a screen that keeps them about 1/2 inch above the water I pour in the bottom. I place the clear "bottom" over them and I use a heating pad to crank up the humidity and in 7-10 days, I have rooted clones.
