my first post...

done a lot of reading, anyone have an idea on whats going on with these clones? they have been in the new cloner for 5 days and as you can see, leaves are curling up and Im getting tan/dead blotches as well as dark spots in a couple spots. cuttings were dipped in olivia's gel, water was mixed with a 1/4 strength root stimulator 4-10-4. water temp is about 70 degrees.

the next pictures are of a couple of a plant in veg which seems to be stunted with purpling/yellowing and small fan leaves. I think this is a N defiency and recently added blood meal to try and bring the ph of the soil down which was riding between 7 and 7.7

lastly i got a supposed G13 cross from a friend who had to abandon a grow and the lady has 3 bladed fully mature fan leaves, the plant looks fantastic otherwise and doesn't seem to be having problems, just wondering if anybody has ever had a plant similar to this.

thanks in advance for the help. rollitup is a valuable source of information. i've seen some really talanted grow ops. looking to steal some of that knowledge!

thanks

looks like a reveged plant but it could be oddball genetics. the leaves rolling up is what looks like heat stress but maybe shock? the brown looks like nute burn

I have had plants with only 3 blades on each leaf(dj shorts flo was one of them) I was told that it sometimes happens after many generations of cloning, and sometime just from genetic defects.

How do the stems look are they brown or a rust color?

I have a similar cloner, I use a small aquarium heater in it to keep temps around 75-82. Think I payed $14 at walmart.

stems are normal looking, they are starting to get a whiteish/clear film on them? I have the heater in there. i'll crank it up a little hotter.

they look like they are drying out.

Continue to mist them, possibly raise your lights. Clones dont need much light at all. Until roots develop they cant photosynthesize.

ditch the fert. Cloning gel is nice, but its just gonna get washed off in about an hour in that cloner.

I'd just go with distilled water and maybe some superthrive.

Am I the only person that thinks the mother plant looks like shit? And you can clone a plant thousands and thousands of times without a sport (genetic variant or degradation) some people even think that sports don't actually exist & that they are just from different growing conditions & diseases.

If your mother plant looks unhealthy (and that mother is unhealthy) then your clones will either not take root, or be unhealthy. Try re-potting your mother, keeping it under 24 hrs of light per day & giving it proper nutes. After a month or four it will start looking better. Then take fresh cuttings, turn one of them into a mother and throw that one out... or flower it out.
