Clone and Seedling Lighting Question

I am thinking about adding another grow tent to my room. Something dedicated to seedlings and clones. I was looking at some 2x2x3’ tents and figured that would be a good size for what I need.

What size quantum board should I use for that purpose? I was between the 135 and 65.

a 2ft 4 or 8 lamp cfl is more than enough for seeds and clones and much cheaper. Working with clones and seedling the environment is far more important than the lighting. I would get a cfl setup as listed above and a nice humidifier with a humidistat and set it to 75 to 80% and your set. Moist (not wet), warm, and humid would be my goal for a room you speak of and whatever funds i have left ill get a light.

Why a tent? Most use tents for light deprivation for flower? Agree with above poster on fluorescent. You get very nice bushy plants with close node spacing with fluorescent. Less heating and less electricity.

I don't even have a light for my clones I just sit them along with the veg! Cloning plants doesn't require much light in the beginning while their taken root!

As for seedlings in the first few weeks it's the same they don't require and can't really use very much light!
