cloans in hydro

ok my cloans have been in my hydro for 3 weeks and they all have roots.

what type of hydro is this? flood/drain with the "cloans" in soil?

some sort of fantastic hybrid system! cool.

yeah your already in a world of hurt here. For $30 bucks you could have made a decent little hydro setup but you got issues here. Thise peat cups are bad and you cant use those in hydro they hold a ton of water and will rot your roots. Soil in hydro nope not gonna work there either. That driveway gravel has to go too. If these have been in hydro for 3 weeks they should all be well over 18 inches tall by now. What is the water ph and the ppm of the nutes?Gota get rid of the dirt, the peat, the gravel. If you wanted a simple cheap flood setup just need 2 tubs, 1 pump, some square plastic flower pots and some tubing then if you dont have hydroton use something like smooth fish tank stones at worse or glass rocks with all smooth edges
