Climate controller light causing me issues

I've noticed that my climate controller has a light on it that is lit during my dark cycle. i can't find a controller that doesn't have a light.

Whats the deal? How do u get around this? I can't tape it because it stil glows light out the humidity ports .

What should I do?

what color of light if green then thats ok if red then u need to tape over every part that is lit up

Its green, but my lAst crop hermied in a sealed room in a tent. Theres no way there was any source of light other than the controller

I may have to open the controller snd remove the light
