Clearex - 5 Gallon soil flush help - need specifics

I have read many clearex posts in here but some ppl go into so much theory that they never seem to get into specifics. for instance... for my situation...
4 plants in 4 - 5 gallon pots. Im in week 8 of flowering and practically done. I have clearex but am not sure of the right amount to use per gallon. (per gallon is how i like to measure). The guy at my hydro store said give it one good dose of clearex, let it sit for 6 hours(to let it disolve the salts), then flush it really good after that.

I need to know (from someone who grows in soil and uses the product):

1. how much clearex to use per gallon.
2.How long do i let the clearex sit to do its thing before flushing it out with water
3. How many times / often do i need to repeat this process
4. Do I flush once really well or a few times over a certain amount of time.
4a. If the flush is multiple days how many days do i need to wait between flushes.

If you dont know please dont responde. I just want a simple clear answser; not long theoritical ones.

Pre-Harvest Treatment (Soil or Soilless) Discontinue fertilizer regime 2-3 days before harvest. Use 1 to 2 tablespoons (15-30 ml) of Clearex per gallon of water. Water as needed. I used the stuff once now I just flush with water over a couple weeks now. I would use it again If I forgot to flush or cared about pumping nutes the last 2 weeks.

10 ml/gallon is fine, too. I used to use it in the last week of flowering, like this:

Feed plants as usual, whatever that means to you, right up to what you've decided will be the last week. Since you're using bigger pots, maybe start flush a week-and-a-half or so from harvest rather than just the last week.

For 3-4 waterings, water with plain water + 10-15 ml/gallon of Clearex.

The last 1-2 waterings, just plain water. (pH'd, of course.) In both phases, let's see plenty of runoff; I wanna see a bunch of water pour out of each pot.

Having tried pre-harvest flush with Clearex and with plain water, I see no appreciable difference, so I just use plain water these days.

Why do I use less than the manufacturer's recommended dosage? 2 reasons. First, it seems to me that most manufacturers of stuff you get at the hydro store just want you to buy more shit, so they recommend using more than you need for most applications. Second, Clearex is designed for use as a quick flush, so you can feed your plants right up to the last few days, and then flush em out real quick, say over the last 4 days or so. Therefore, if you're stretching flush longer than that, and the solution is going to be working in those pots longer, less of it will work fine.

And like I say, I've stopped using it altogether. Plain water is quite sufficient, imho.

I flushed with Clearex last night but I mixed way too much. I'm in 5 gallon pots in soil. I took them outside and ran plenty of the mix through them but I still have 20-25 gallons mixed that is just sitting in my water barrel. Is there a lifespan on it? I used General Organics exclusively and the results were amazing. I was told at the grow store that I can take them in 4 days with this stuff. I'm a nube so I'm on the net getting info overload. Any helpful advice would be much appreciated. Peace.

So why are you flushing again ? Because the Hydro store told you ?

Try your flush on just two of your plants, and leave two unflushed...

Label, and harvest and cure both the same...

Then when you are done, tell us the difference between good bud, flushed, and unflushed...

I just do not understand the theroy of the flush...Especially In Soil...

No but the tricomes turned overnight and they are absolutely perfect now so I wanted to take them as soon as possible, hence the Clearex. I still have other plants that I'm flushing and I just want to know is there a lifespan on Clearex once mixed?

Flushing stresses your plants and is not necessary. clearex mixed should last a long time. It is just water and sugars and completely unnecessary.

If you want to stress your plants, go ahead and flush. You will not improve flavor or smell, but you will stress your plants.

Old thread I know, BUT...saying you don't need to flush, especially in soil is kinda misleading at best. Yeah, I had a number of grows that were perfect grown in soil without flushing.... But, After having a harvest come out tasting like crap, I changed my view on flushing.
If your using synthetic nutes flushing should be done for at least a week, most recommend a flush then two weeks of plain ph'ed water.
I have also had problems with salt build up using organics in soil, this is usually operator error, by overfeeding, but it happens, and has happened to me.
Ran into problems not PHing my nutes or water also, because I have read there isn't a need to pH in soil, hell the grow shop guy has told me such.....
Then one day...boom! Started seeing problems, checked my run-off and it was 8.5!
So, now I flush, and check my pH periodically... most times I dial it in at 6.4 then check every other watering or so.

All off my writings on gardening come from growing cannabis LIKE plants, not cannabis itself...cannabis is still illegal here in the good ole Commonwealth.... Might be a Commonwealth, But....it sure lacks on COMMON SENSE!!!
