Clawing :-(

My White Widows are growing great and really green and whatnot but one is starting to claw on most of the leaves pretty bad.

Setup...
400W HPS for 12/12 (been in flowering for like a week)
Fox Farms Nutes Mix of Grow Big/Tiger Bloom/Big Bloom. I'm slowing lessening the GB and increasing TB and BB for flowering.
Watering every 2 days.
Always check runoff and it's always 6.4-6.6pH
Nutes every other watering.
Both are in my own soil mix.

They've both had identical environments... They've both been watered, transplanted, exposed to light, exposed to dark, pH, temp, humidity, etc. all together. It's weird because the one that I started in my soil mix has grown very well and has had less problems (including only a mild case of the claw) but the one started in miracle grow has had TONS of burns/defs, yellowing, dead leaves, etc... They're both doing well now that they're in my mix but any ideas why they're clawing? Is it overwatering (probably)? should I switch to watering every 3 or 4 days?

MG started...

Started in my mix...

rule of thumb for watering..

water.. then wait until the top few layers of soil are dry.. the top first two layers should be fairly dry. Crispy dry even.. as this is the first part of the medium to dry out since it gets the most light.

once the top layer to two layers of medium is dried out.. you need to go ahead and water again.

peace..

agree... look a lil water logged... they'll be fine, just follow guru's advice.

Thanks guys, that was the rule of them I read about and tried to follow but I guess I just need to adjust a bit more.

Those look pretty healthy. They may be a little soggy but you know what to do :]

Using Miracle Gro is a pretty bad idea always, tbh.

Haha I'm defiantly not going to be using MG in any future grows. This is only my second grow/first successful grow so still tryin out new stuff and see what works for me. I mainly used the MG in this grow just to compare the growth between MG and my mix.
