clawing and buds aren't maturing

Hey there,

Got some severe clawing on some of my plants I hope someone could help me with. I checked the stickied guide but didn't see this problem. I'm 4 weeks into flower with Jack the Ripper, Afgan Haze 33, White Russian.

My setup is

8 bucket DIY Under current.
1000 watt hps on a light mover
1400ppm Canna Nute A and B / CalMag/ Water Shield/ Protekt/
PH 6.1, room temp 75 F, water temp 73 F

Thanks for checking it out

Water temp seems high, I like mine cool to a bit chilly.

How far away are the lights? Not hot at bud-top level, is it?

That is bad clawing (even worse than mine), and the buds look kinda small for 4 weeks.

I'd say a good flush is in order.

Good luck.

yep i was going to say that flushing is always the way

but

if they are in straight RDWC i would think you would want to have some nutes in there still, but if it is a N toxcity is probably best if they drink some straight water

GL

and i would get that water temp down to the 60s in the 70s it will be struggling to uptake anything

from what i have read anyway . im a soil grower

Clawing is usually from excess n. Excess n in flower can also inhibit bud production. Not saying they don't need n in flower just don't overload them.

Flushed and added P and K back to the new fresh water. Am I at risk of root problems at 73 F ? I can't afford a water chiller right now. I am using Water Shield which I thought would help.

That flush is gonna help. Way to much N in those girls. Those buds are way to small for 4 weeks. Hold off on nutes for a feed or two.
