Cinderella Man--First Grow--First Post! Go Big! 1000w Ebb&Flow

I'm growing a bunch of different strains right now, and this is my first real grow. I have a decent size room with the following system:

1000w Switchable Sun System
Ebb and flow system
Pots with soil for now
CFM fan two 4in tubes

The 16 plants are: Cinderella, Pineapple, Pineapple x Queen, Purple Kush, Afghani, Hawaiin Sativa, Blue berry, and a few others I dont know.

Right now I am just hand watering and plan to do so this whole crop, but later I would like to move into hydroponics since I have the system and the water pump. If anyone could give me some advice pertaining to my specific system that would be appreciated. Maybe you will change my mind and switch me to hydro :)

I started them under t5's and today they were put under the 1000w MH for 24 hours. I have my fan hooked up blowing air into my cool air hood and another duct hooked up to the other end of the fan blowing air out of the room.

I'm making this grow journal to hopefully receive help when I need it. Or too just have an extra set of eyes with a little more experience than I.

I wanted to know if I should shimmy up some walls or plastic around my actual site or just let it be. Any advice or input will be greatly appreciated. I will be frequently updating this and posting day to day pictures as much as I can. Bare with the first images I used my phone. Enjoy. Blow trees! One love!

Please recommend me some nutrients. I am not giving them anything but water right now. Do I need to make a trip to the hydro store? Let me know!

for soil. I really like fox farm line. It has been around for quite some time but it does a good job at produces good yields. Big Grow is one of their products. It it a simple nutrient for first time growers that gives good results for vegging. Also check out some of their trio of nutrients that are used together. (Big grow, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom). Use it for my first couple of outdoor grows and was impressed by the results.

Ive had some problem with spider mites. A few plants were infected so I moved them outside. I hope I caught them quick enough before they spread and laid eggs :( Its been stressing the shit outta me! Bombed the room and Ive been using Fox Farms Dont Bug Me and Neem oil every day to kill those little buggers. I have also started giving them some nutes. Flora Gro, only 1tbs per gallon. I also transferred some of the smaller plants to bigger (5gal) pots. Please let me hear some feedback or advice. Im still having trouble keeping the temp down. Its runs above 80 most of the day. Does anyone have any good recomendations for an AC or swamp cooler that doesnt consume a lot of energy? Or maybe a natural method of cooling the room down?

Thanks! One love!

Just added an AC! An efficient one at that :) Got my temps down to around 78. The AC uses to exhaust tubes though, so I had to take out my exhaust from the inline fan and hood. I just took off the ducting and Im letting it circulate through the room. Is this okay or should I vent it outside properly? Will get pics up later! Plants are looking spider mite free (fingers crossed).
