I have been smoking since 7 years and am on my way To quit. June is my deadline. And thank you as the post makes me much more motivated.

Good luck. In around 30 years, I tried to quit a half dozen times - most in the past 10 years. I broke a year - longest so far, and I just stopped this time. No gum, patches, or anything.

This is the first time I quit and was also a daily mj smoker (and vape too). Of course, I don't smoke mj while driving around town or on breaks at work or anything like that. In the same 30 years, I've been more of an occasional or on and off mj user.

They spent billions of dollars on how to hook us on these coffin nails, I have family members on oxygen from smoking.

chantex the nicotine blocker worked for me and said family member. Give a try. What do you have to lose?

Mmmmm, cancer never tasted so good!
i plain-ass enjoy smoking. been smoking for almost 50 years-quit one time for about 2 years!!!-but back to smoking over one pack a day-i'd say i smoke close to 2 packs actually. i know it is bad for me and everyone else and it's dirty etc etc etc. i enjoy it too much to think of quitting. i'm gonna take a pack of cigarettes with me(Oh and a lighter) when my dad past away i put a pack of kools and a lighter in his pocket while he was in casket.you can take it with you and i'd like a couple joints also please.

I'm not saying cigs are safe or don't have bad chemicals and compounds. Again, I'm not so sure inhaling any burning plant matter is good. However, tobacco has polonium, which is a different radioactive element. (Po, not Pu.) Also very bad for you. You can also get Po in your diet too (example). Maybe there's plutonium too - but again, there are many things contaminated with that too.

Tobacco as well as cannabis pick up any heavy metals that are in the soil they grow in. The U.S. government uses hemp to remove radioactive metals from soil in contaminated sites
