Chunky Glass Pipes Review - They are legit

Hey guys,

I have read online that Chunky Glass Pipes has gotten a poor reputation for ripping people off. But that was not the case with my order that I placed on May 29th, 2009, and I received it exactly 7 days after I placed it.

Despite what other sites may say, CGP is legitimate and did not rip me off.

The pipes were perfect. I ordered a mini bong which is very nice. The slider is just a little thin, but it works for me.

Now, the bowls were out of this world. By far the chunkiest, fattest, deepest bowls I have ever seen. They are soo nice. I ordered the corkscrew and the fluorescent cube (blue) and one other cheapo one for $9.99 which was also very thick and nice.

They were shipped in a discrete box with very secure packaging and a fragile sticker on the outside. Everything was protected with bubble wrap, and stuck in peanuts. The order was great.

If you have any doubts about chunkyglasspipes.com; I hope that this post relieves them for you. That bad reviews were from like 2007 and 2008, and I read since then they got new workers.

I got a quick response when I asked them a question, and everything worked out great.

+1 for CGP! I will definitely buy from them again!

hey i made an order from them a couple days ago but never got any email confirmation that they got my order. they charged my cedit card but i have no responses from the emails i sent to them or anything, when did u get your email from them??

Just got a double bubbler GOG bowl from them, Thick, Heavy and Pretty! Blown in WA and delivered to PA in around 4 days. NICE!

Hey guys let me start by saying to not mind my post numbers, this is my first post but i joined to shed some light on this situation. So the other day i ordered from chunky glass pipes, without doing any research, but then i stumbled on these and freaked out. I was all worried that theyd steal my money and shit and would have been pissed, but then i finally got a confirmation email(like 2 days after i placed my order) and i wasnt worried. I ordered last wednsday and it got here today so i was pretty happy. BUT let me add, when i got the pieces out of the package today i was aesthetically displeased...both peices ARE SIMILAR, but not exactly like the pictures, the designs are a little different and they are sized different, BUT i am now happy, i just smoked out of the one and it is SOOO fucking great, when you pull through it looks like lightning in the back and it looks great and pulls great. So i just came inside to share this info with you. I would say that chunky glass pipes gets a 10 for actual nice pipes, but a 4 for advertising what theyre selling.

You can't make a piece 100 percent like the pictures. The pictures are examples of what you'll get, what you get is similar as they are hand blown. I'm pretty sure there's a disclaimer saying something like "every piece is unique, you will not get what's in the picture but you'll get something similar."

I bought my first zong bong on they're website. Good bong.

If your not trying to spend a lot of money and aren't looking for works of art but something that functions well, chunky is the way to go.

I found a glass shop near by, they have better prices on the (original) zongs. However the owner claims to have gone to high school with the owner of Zong / Blue Dot Glass.

I also got a cheapo grinder on chunky, it was okay for the price. You get what you pay for, and I have since realized its better to pay more rather than less with smoking tools.

Since I got that $80 zong I picked up a $650 volcano, a $110 grinder (space case large titanium) and a hurricane goldeneye 1000 for $570 total (still waiting on the hurricane expect a thread)

You got butt fucked on that volcano bro. I made my own for 200 and it works just as good...if not better.

i ordered from them a while back and got all my pipes in a good time.. they are legit for sure and have some good prices too..

Haha nahh its cool.

I wanted a real volcano, especially with that sleek sexy digital display.

I can't drive a super nice car, or wear real nice jewelery... but I can put 650 on something that I can use and enjoy every day. Its the ferrari of smoking devices and I'm down to throw some hard earned $ on that.

If anything I got butt fucked on the hurricane... its a bong, for $440. It truely is a work of art though. I love it and I'm glad I spend the money on the quality. I seriously dreamt about the thing and it hits way better in real life than in my dreams. Look for a thread in the next few hrs ill post some pics

Yes, the ones that don't break easily and when inhaling it not too harsh of a smoke... The guy at the headshop in my area wanted to sell it to me for like 50 bucks but If I shop around, can probably get it less than that...

Anyone else notice noone who is praising them has more then 50 posts?

Chunky is so Legit1 Got the sickest bong in 4 days! Slide broke but getting replacement was easy. Bong is sick as fuck. Will order from them in the future. Feel fee to message me if you think I'm fake.

I placed an order with that company on December 25, 2011. I tried to contact them the 2nd week of January and have yet to see a response. Just this week I sent another email stating that if they weren't going to respond or ship my order to just cancel it. To this day I haven't been contacted back by them.

Don't waste your time, CGP is not a legitimate business.

I only registered on this site to post this review because when I googled CGP before my attempted purchase this site's reviews what the first to come up.

I just made an order for 140$ without doing any research... big mistake, am i fucked?

im pretty much in the same boat as gddeman, i ordered from them on march 11th and its now april 13th. There's a shipping number that is attached to my confirmation email but it says its just waiting for the sender to ship it. i've sent 3-4 emails and tried contacting them over the phone. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone tbh.
