Chucky's Bag seeds

Hey guys, has anyone got any info on Chucky's bag seeds? I'm wanting a glue/cookie cross and this breeder has a Gorilla breath, I'm interested to know if these are tested or not. Cheers, Mo

Not really..,got a e-mail from GLG about them...not a lot of info...I'm thinking if I read it right they found some selfed seeds in a bud and one turned out to be male so they hit it to some clone only cuts

Yeah, they are my thoughts too! I just want to find a good glue/cookie cross and saw the gorilla breath with free cookie fems thrown in. Don't really want to fork out $100 on untested beans!

I could just be high but there's a Diesel X male that came from hermied seed that's being used in breeding.
Chucky's Bagseed pretty much says all it needs too lol

Bloody hell, not good if they're using hermie seed lol. You're right, the name does say it all ha ha.

I wouldn't totally dismiss them Mo , some of the most potent elite clone only strains came from hermied seeds . With that being said you could one of the first to take a chance on them and may find the next big hoopla pheno .

Ok here's some info for you guys...they have Chucky but it's really Chunky's Bagseed. There is a forum member over at ICmag named Chunky P. Good grower well when OGKB first hit the scene Chunky P went to Cali got buds of OGKB well he found 5 seeds in them. He eventually popped them found a male and rest were females. He made crosses with the male to the females and other good cuts out there and this what you are seeing now. I actually have a pack of ScoutBreath already that was got by a good buddy at MI HTCC last year. Had 3 going but they were lost with most of the stuff I lost. Here is the thread for his work. Yeah true, hell, look at original GSC and glue, both came from hermies lol.

Thank you as always bro, you always know where to get the info!! I may have to just take the risk and see how they go! The gorilla bubble pricked my interest due to the sour dubble that Sin uses but I really want a cookies/glue cross...this guy might be it!

Yea Cookieboi is the male Chunky found in the 5 bag seeds of OGKB. So basically it is an OGKB male. Now I think Chunky believes Cookieboi is a true breeding make found in s1 seeds. Don't quote me on this but I think the reason why is because the forum member that OGKB is named after OGKushBreath was supplying the buds to the dispensaries and I'm sure people believe there was no males where OGKB was being grown. That's just speculation tho nobody knows for sure if the seeds came from rouge pollen so just have to go with that they were s1 seeds cus cookies selfs itself anyway. There have been many instances where males were shown in fem lines so it's very possible it's that what happened. In conclusion lol Cookieboi is and OGKB bag seed male. I posted the link for Chunky's thread over at IC all the info is in there about his findings

After reading through almost 100 pages of that thread, I pulled the pin and bought a pack of the gorillabreath. The pics look right up my ally and since i only have a small grow, can keep a close eye out for nanners. As you said @skunkwreck there may be pure fire in there somewhere! 12 beans should help me along, plus the 4 GSC forum x gg4! Cheers for the help fellas

Well Mo I've been expecting it for years , either from fem seeds or herms that a Male would pop up sooner or later of some clone only strain and then there would be reg seeds of clone onlys....too many growers for years for that not to happen sooner or later . Full circle of life .

The cookieboi male is a Prime example of that if what they are saying is true....genetic odds are 1 in a 1000 femmed beans will be a full blown male not a herm...in Chunkys case it was a herm but a dedicated breeder can almost completely breed out that herm trait once the initial cross has been worked for a generation or two...at least that's IMVHO.

Yes, that's very true mate. It was bound to happen hey. My limited genetic knowledge though has me confused as I'm led to believe that males that are produced are sterile, it's interesting that this one wasn't. Either that or it was stray pollen from another plant that was male. I don't really care hey, if these girls turn out half as good as the pics, I'll be stoked!!

Some lines do it very often more than the 1 in 1000 Peyote Purple is one. It's an s1 of Bubba Kush but they label them as regs cus it spits out males often. Some people don't believe it can happen and that rogue pollen is why males show up but I don't think it rogue pollen cus what about the landraces that don't get pollinated by males? But it's nothing I'll lose sleep over lol

I'll get to the Scout Breaths soon hell may pop a few when I get home since Sin City taking a while for the testers. Was trying to save space for those but about time they get here I'll have the other seedlings in the the veg tent so yea I'll see when I get home

Yeah I don't doubt that it happens more often, I need to look into how the male becomes fertile when it has been produced by an only female parent...interesting!

I was wanting some peyote purple but they ran out before I got the funds....it said it was a limited edition
