Chronic+AK47 50 plant stadium grow

This grow will start in 7 days time...
I have been waiting for this for about 6 months now and i couldnt wait one more week to get started.

This is my FIRST GROW and i decided to dive in at the deep end.
The grow will be a 48 plant stadium style grow. half Chronic and half AK47 (for now)
after a few grows i will try out a few more strains. both strains are from serious seeds.

it will be 8 foot long by about 6 foot wide and have 3 rows of 8 plants on each side.
the lights will be 2 1k HPS hung vertical and bare bulb. The plants will be grown in Rockwool cubes which will then be grown in pots filled with clay pellots.

clones will be taken before flowering and vegged under cfls in a 4 by 4 table .. I chose cfls as they will veg for 8 weeks while the others flower and i didnt want growth to be too fast.

I will also keep a few mothers just incase some clones dont root.

My aim is to get 2 ounce per plant which would be a total of about just over 6 lb
although even 1 ounce per plant would be fine.

I have never grown before and this is going to be one hell of a challenge.. but im up for it. feel free to tell me how silly i am for doing this as a first try but i allready know that.
if i can pull this off.. all the help and information i have is from you guys.. so many thanks for that.

Ok so the seeds are here..
took about 2 weeks to get them after sending the cash.(dont send cash in the post its a horrible feeling)

i have 1 pack (11) chronic
and one pack of fem (6) ak47 from serious seeds

i wont be able to plant them for 7 days but i wanted to get a head start.
although my grow partner just went and popped one ak (annoying) because he couldnt wait for me to get back

OK SO HERE IS THE PLAN
these 17 plants will be grown in a 6 foot wide hexagonal tent i have. they are all on a shelf about 2 foot off the floor and will be grown with clfs at first and then after 4 days or so ill hang the 1k hps bare bulb from the top of the tent between them all and have it at 18/6
these will be the mothers for the 50 clones...
ill have photos of the stadium grow room building process, the mother tent and the 17 seedlings in 7 days.

i forgot to mention they will all be drip fed in the stadium grow. the clones on the 4 by 4 tray may be drip fed although im thinking of hand watering those.

keep your eyes peeled..
i have a feeling i will need all the help i can get on this one.

while i wait.. anyone have any growing tips for Chronic or AK47

i wont be fimming or topping them ..
i may tie some of the side branches down or pull them aüart to fill the grow space... and i may also cut some of the lower leaves off on a few plants to see how they compare.
im going to keep all the nutes low.. if they look like they need some ill raise the level.

any words of wisdom on either strain would be great.

ok the photos and grow will begin on the 9th. when im back in the country. so 3 days.
ive been told that the ak47 that was planted 4 days ago is growing well . its about 3 inches tall and showing its 3rd leaf set. i didnt realise they grew so fast.. in a two hour period it grew its second leaf set.. we couldnt believe it.

ok so today i arrived back in the uk
and first thing i did was start germin the seeds.. 16 total
11 chronic and 5 AK (there is also one 6 day old ak seedling) they will all be growing from sunlight and in r/w cubes for the first week and then all of them go around a 1k hps which is hung vert and bare bulb.

if you growing ak47 man you should do whatever you can to get them growing good ak47 i the best. by the way you do know they gonna stink your street out. shit i had a gram of ak47 in my house a while ago you could smell it outside just a gram it was amazing how strong the smell was

well we have the tent fitted with a couple of t8 flourescents for the seedlings first days.. been in the paper towels for about 30 hours.. no shows yet.. ill see in the morning.
turns out there are NO hydro stores in or around my town .. not even in preston!!! wtf, we turned up at a supposed location after an hour drive to find it was closed down... and while i was there another guy turned up looking to buy some lights too
Business idea?

ill have to hook the room up with a good carbon filter then if it smells bad..

apparently there was a bust on a DRUG FACTORY in my town yesterday..... which turned out to be 18 small plants about 3 weeks old under a shitty light... hardly a factory.
also he was busted due to the smell which caught the attention of passers by..... ill deffo have to keep close tabs on it.

all 16 seeds germinated... all at the same time..
i planted each into 2litre pots.. and all 16 fit well under the t8s
i just hope i didnt plant the seeds too low... i dont think so but it worried me a little.
there isnt much to see at the moment.. hopefully we will see some sprouts in a couple of days.
ill put some photos of the pots and grow tent up tomorrow.

its like watching paint dry... this is going to be the slowest 2 days ever.
