I am flipping to 12 12 next Saturday. My ventilation requires that the door to the groom be left open. I have family coming over on Christmas eve and leaving on boxing day. I will be 6 weeks and 3 days into flower at this stage.
I run 1000w in a 160cm x 80 cm x 180cm tent (1 x 600 and 1 x 400 hps), this is in a 2m sq room.
My options are:
Leave the lights off for the 3 days
Find some CFL's to give a lil something to them for the 12 hours but unlikely to get the coverage required.
Turn lamps down to 250w on each and run for 6-8 ours in a closed room (not sure the if the heat build up would still be unmanageable (500w in a closed room with no incoming or outgoing air will get hot pretty quick I'd imagine.
My groom is on the ground floor so can't really have windows open without neighbors hearing the ventilation.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated. I'd prefer to leave them off for 3 days and just extend the flowering period, but week 6 is a critical stage for density and I don't want to fuck them up.
